Its pretty much destroyed the roof burned off and some police and fire crews are on scene because they are worried this fire may flare up. Overnight. 17 arrests were made. At least one officer was sent to the hospital after a rock was smashed through his patrol. Another person was hurt after being shot. The protests started on saturday after a milwaukee officer shot and killed a 23yearold man. Officers say Slyville Smith was armed during a traffic he took off from the car on foot. And when officers ordered him to drop his weapon, he didnt comply. Thats when an African American officer opened fire on smith, killing him. Officers were wearing body cameras, but that footage hasnt been released. Sot police . The gun at the scene that we are recovering was stolen in a burglary i believe in waukesha along with 500 rounds of ammunition. The National Guard is in the city, monitoring the situation.
