war. i always like to get up and say our next speaker needs no introduction. that s because i have introduced chris kolowkoski several times. he s the director of the museum in norfolk, virginia. a must-sierra if you are down in the area. he was a civil war guy before he found himself embroiled in world war ii. he s gone to perriville to be the site manager and done work with the trust. he went to the patent museum. he s also written a book on the stones campaign. he did a lot of work to the campaign. he s here today to talk a little bit about stones river, the first portion of that, that sets up. he s going to wrap up 1862 and literally bring us to 1863, this battle, in one of the most great defenses of the civil war. ladies and gentlemen, chris kolokowski.
