Due to the dense fog and low visibility. Bulk of the next storm is expected to move into the sierra this morning and then into western nevada by midday. Pine middle school is facing some Serious Problems after a pipe burst about two weeks ago. Chris weve had to go in and replace all the tile floor, all the carpet in all the classrooms. 95 percent of the first floor is damaged. That includes the band room. And a few lockers. Personal items had to be removed and bagged to clean up the asbestos. Chris we take them off site, we put them in a climatized area, apply heat to them, make sure theyre useful. While crews remove the Hazardous Material and dry everything up. Class will have to start on the 25th. Two weeks later than scheduled. To make up for some of that lost time. Students will have to go to class 15 minute ....
