have started to appear over the last couple of weeks. it is not the only stretch of roadway that the city of reno finds itself playing catchup in a race they most likely won t win. its a sound that has become all too familiar for those who work and live in the south virginia street area between plumb and patriot. pot holes, which have started to appear over the last couple of weeks. the women s riding specialist here at great basin bicycles says she started taking another route to work. cat gardella/driver: to date, a little pot holey, unpredictable, especially right after the stop light at patriot and south virginia. nice big old rut has been there for several weeks.. gardella took that route today so she didn t notice crews working on filling the potholes. according the city s maintenance and operations manager marnell heinz, crews have been working on the road with an asphalt and aggregate mixture to help cover the pot holes which are about an inch deep. it will work for a

handle a large lump of crash. good evening. thank you for joining us for this special edition of prime time. after a string of deadly violence camed the lives of two people claimed the lives of two people, the community is coming to. the community met talked about forming a neighborhood watch program and what the city and police are doing to keep them safe. here s the details. reporter: in december alone three separate shootings happened in or around the pat baker park area. two teens were killed by gunfire. tonight, police chief jason soto and councilman delgado met with the community and said they are adding more lightand area. we can expect those changes in the next few months. neighbors spoke about taking ownership of this neighborhood, including the family of myra rodriquez killed in a drive-by shooting down the street. we want people to speak up. at the end of the day, we do know they are concerned because of their safety, for their safety, but we re wanting t
