Let me personally say what a great honor it is, a conference i think a lot of people dont know the name derek shealy. Going to the radar. Derek played football. Tragically died when he sustained head injuries. The injuries were preventable. I didnt get a chance to meet derek but i got to know him a little bit. Previously as a reporter. This morning the new warm springs station in fremont is open. A gamechanger for many south and east bay commuters. A live look for you. The new station is sandwiched between 880 and 680, right next to the tesla factory. Not everyone is happy about it. Several homes are along that route. Despite a sound barrier that has been installed neighbors living in the area for years say noise from the trains is a big concern. I think that they should have done something as far as technology. I think theres Something Better out there. I think if someone is looking for a job in San Francisco where theres a lot of buzz, its really easy to just drive a couple of miles and find some parking, which is a rarity. A chilly night in store as lows drop into the 40s. Right now, storm ranger mobile Doppler Radar looking lonely atop the mountain. Not finding anything to scan underneath the clouds just yet. In the next 12 to 18 hours, that is subject to change. A lot of cloud cover offshore. That will eventually mean a mostly cloudy finish to the weekend with some rain at times. Go heading north across the bridge. 53 degrees. Temperatures arent going to change much today as mist begins to fall outside right now in San Francisco. Well see rain spreading from the north bay across San Francisco eventually reaching san jose as we head into the afternoon spot quick check here on the satellite radar shows you the rain beginning to pluf ashore so hour by hour cloud cover for most of the day and rain picking up around midafternoon into the evening. Hour by hour you can see lighter rain moving out of the north bay and as we head into the evening, 8 00 that looks to be the main event. All the blew you see on the map would indicate less than a quart inch of rain. So the clouds will keep our temperatures down. 70 forecast say complete u turn ahead as temperatures sky rocket higher.
