Right now a suspect is on the run in hayward and an officer injured after an Early Morning incident. The chp says one of their officers approached a driver sleeping in a parked stolen car around 2 30 this morning. Near tarman avenue and jackson street. When the driver woke up, the chp says they sped off nearly ramming an officer. That officer did fire a shot at the stolen car. No one was hit.
