16th. i m amy coveno. we ll get to the top stories in just a minute. first, josh judge is in the weather center with a look at the forecast. it s foggy on my write-in, josh. fog in the valley, particularly thick. otherwise not as cold as yesterday. it s chilly, mind you, but not as cold as yesterday and the trend will be going up. tonight and tomorrow night, actually, will be much, much warmer. 20 s and 30 s at the moment and partly sunny for today. off to the west, clouds and even a couple of showers and sprinkles. so there is that chance this afternoon. particularly in northern new hampshire and perhaps a spot sprinkle elsewhere. otherwise it will be warmer today as well. yesterday, we topped off in the mid to upper 50 s and today, mid to upper 60 s. hey, a couple of spots could hit 70 degrees. believe it or not, it gets warmer from there. coming up in your forecast. amy: we begin with breaking news. police are investigating a stabbing at 4:00 this morning on winter stree
23rd. i m amy coveno. it s that time of year again. the first snowflakes of the season began falling in colebrook overnight. while it felt cold, temps didn t quite get below freezing. it didn t stick very much. if you think it s chilly now, it s only going to get colder this week. and let s go over to josh judge and hold his feet to fire what s happening in colebrook. josh: you can see some accumulations on the grassy surfaces when it didn t hit the roadway. there s doppler radar, how about that? the terrain of southern and central new hampshire overnight and northern new hampshire still snowing at this moment. it will wane down a little bit, but some may pick up an inch or so, we see the sun come out, but the winds will remain. temperatures right now in the 30 s to the north and 40 s everywhere else and here is where we re headed for today. lower half of the 50 s south of the white mountains and only in the lower 40 s in lower new hampshire. windy and chilly out there. g
