like we do. now, wmur news 9 this morning. amy: good morning, new hampshire. 6:00 on this saturday, october 29th. i m amy coveno. we ll get to our top stories in just a minute, first, josh judge is in the weather center with a look at the forecast. hi, josh. josh: good morning, it s saturday. we had rain yesterday and now there s more moving in from the west as you can see here on the latest satellite imagery and radar and the last two hours because it s about to rain, perhaps, where you are. maybe it already is and notice a little bit of mixed precipitation possible in the higher terrain and areas to the north. a quick burst of rain here, but more showers off to the west could move in through the mid day and early afternoon hours. temperatures in the 30 s to lower 40 s and headed to the 40 s and milder today after 40 s the last couple of days, some today and that s a trend that will continue in the next few days, we ll talk about the warmer air pushing in this direction comi
we ll get to our top stories in just a minute. first, josh judge is in the weather center with a look at the weekend forecast. have you got some harps there? yes, i do, people are cold in morning, it s chilly, in the 20 s in many parts of the state this morning as those temperatures are one. colder mornings we ve seen in a while. so bundle up as you head outside today and the temperatures will be rebounding into the 40 s and lower 50 s today. states, flurries and snow showers and that could turn into a rain shower or two in a couple of spots as a weak disturbance crosses the region today. off to our west, there s clearing skies and meaning this upcoming week looks much calmer. this weekend, both days, a couple of passing rain or snow showers otherwise, a mix of sun and clouds, rather, and temperatures mostly in the lower to mid 50 s. we ll talk about the week ahead, including election day, as we we do begin with breaking news this morning. manchester police confirm two pe
hampshire. 6:00 on this sunday, november 6th. i m amy coveno. we ll get to the top stories in just a minute. first, josh judge should be very well-rested in the weather center checking out the forecast and that extra hour feels great. yeah, that s what i did, i slept great. all right, here is a look at temperatures. it s a little cool, but much warmer than it was yesterday morning at this time. 30 s in northern and western new hampshire. it feels milder out there, but we have region. southern new hampshire saw some decent showers roll through and we have some snow showers in the mountains this morning. these will tend it wane over the next few hours and we ll see them transition today before sunnier weather to the west right here. begins to move in for tomorrow and for parts of the upcoming week. for today, we start out with clouds and sunny breaks developing as we get deep are in the days. imminent when it moves in, how long it lasts and election day weather coming up. amy
20th. the 325th day of the year, i m jamie staton in this morning for amy coveno. we ll get to the top stories in a minute. first, chris jarzynka joins us with the weather. chris: it s drizzly out there, but that s the start of weather drama as we ve got a line of rain that s ready to move on through and it s not going to end as rain by the time the day is all said and done. mentioned, starting off the morning as calm as a drizzly foggy morning can be. but we have some steady rain into the southern part of the state right now. you may notice off to the west that green is colored blue, where rain is changing to snow because we have a dramatic cooldown coming in, a blustery and colder afternoon. temperatures starting off the morning in the 40 s, dropping into the 30 s, and rain will change to snow and even accumulate in the northern and the higher elevations. well, we ll narrow that down for you in a few minutes with your extended 9 forecast. jamie: it looks like some kind of s
february 20th, i m amy coveno. parts of the state saw some snow overnight making it a little slick. you re looking at concord. you can see the shiny black asphalt and you can see the pavement there. meteorologist josh judge told us it was coming. it was slow going for me this morning, josh. josh: a little bit of snow and we had some snow which in some cases changed over to rain showers, not a lot of accumulation, but a coating to as much as an inch fell overnight. look at the temperatures though, it s pretty mild out there for this early in the morning. a look at the snow batch that rolled through. another one coming through right now. notice how there s more rain in the next batch as the temperatures are rising and once this area of snow pulls away this morning, then we will actually see some partly sunny skies developing in central and southern new hampshire. meanwhile, mixed rain and snow showers will continue in northern new hampshire, but look on the way. 42 to 52 for to
