North Platte (35-20) advances to play Omaha Skutt (30-16) for the second time in the tournament on Tuesday at 4 p.m. “It was just a great performance, top to bottom, by our guys,” Seniors Head Coach Ricky Holm said. “They never gave up. We only had two hits, but we made them play catch and we took advantage of their errors. We finally chased that pitcher in the bottom of the seventh and Carsen (Johnson) came up with the clutch hit to win the game. I’m so proud of him and the team.” ....

With the top 2 finish in districts, the Nationals also qualify for the state tournament next week.
