ambulance he was crying real hard. reporter: a chilling sight following what investigators describe as a tragic accident it happened a little before 4:00 from skyfox you can see two bicycles in the driveway. was it a rifle or handgun? at this point it s a handgun. but we re going to investigate. reporter: d.a. tim cruz tells fox 25 two 11-year-old boys were playing with the hanged gun when it went off striking one of the boys in the face. crews declined to say if the boy mistakenly shot himself or if his friend accidentally pulled the trigger. it s early at this point i would say it s fair to say we believe there was not intentionally somebody did not try to intentionally hurt somebody. reporter: cruz says he s unaware if any adults were in the home when the shooting happened. according to neighbors one of the boy s involved in the shooting lives in the home the same street. certainly a serious situation. it s a tragic situation. i just don t think there ....
