CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Clemson Tigers Women's Lacrosse team (9-5, 2-5 ACC) fell to the No. 4 Boston College Eagles (12-2, 6-1 ACC), 16-4, at Alumni Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Graduate Claire Bockstie recorded her 200th career goal in the third quarter. Through the first quarter, goalkeeper Emily Lamparter, who leads the ACC in saves, etched two more to her season total. The Eagle's offense had a hot start as they led 6-0 through the first 15 minutes despite the Tiger's defense. In the second quarter, Clemson's offense lit up to cut into Boston College's lead. Emma Tilson scored first for the Tigers as she converted a free position shot to tally her 22nd goal of the season. Clemson, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers Women’s Basketball team (16-14, 7-11 ACC) beat the No. 23 Florida State Seminoles (23-8, 12-6 ACC) in Littlejohn Coliseum on Sunday afternoon, 74-61. This is Clemson’s first time beating two top-25 teams in one season since 2001-2002. Seniors Brie Perpignan and Hannah Hank combined for 19 of Clemson’s 74 points and nine of its 36 rebounds. Eight different Tigers scored for Clemson with four hitting double digits. Amari Robinson led all scorers with 20 points followed by Perpignan and Ruby Whitehorn, with 14 and 13 respectively. Clemson shot 45% from behind the arc and 46% from the field. The Tigers came out hot as Robinson hit back-to-back shots in the opening minutes of the first quarter. Ten different Tigers got into the action, with seven putting up points. Senior Amari Robinson led the Tigers in points with nine, and freshman Ruby Whitehorn added six points while leading the team with seven rebounds. Sophomore MaKayla Elmore also contributed two blocks for the Tigers, and graduate Brie Perpignan added three assists.
