Again, it was the military headquarters. One of our first preservationists in san antonio worked very hard when she identified this building as being the original garrison and preserving it. It has been many Different Things over time, and it has been added on over time, as well. Began, as where it all oneroom house built for the captain. The original was built by adobe brick based on a letter the governor wrote to the king in june of that year.
