We watched as crews wrapped up trying to clear this tree. Minutes. But they had been here for about four hours. We talked to homeowners and neighbors across charlotte. A tree fell on a condo in the will more area. It caused so much damage inside, that structure has been deemed unsafe. We saw crews working to clear a tree that fell on a vintage seen Power Outages, two gas leeks, and trees down within a three block radius. A nearby homeowner told us the impact knocked down one of the trees in her yard and damaged her fence and she described the moment it happened. He started barking. We heard a loud rustling. Reporter john, we have been here all morning and within the last 30 minutes you can see a bulldozer crew out here taking barn. We have new information, we learned a space heater used in the barn to keep the animals warm may have caused this fire. We were here shortly after 6 30 when the call came in off we spoke with the owner off camera who said he lost two horses, a dog and six puppies. He said the animals were family pets and loved by his children. He saw the fire after he came back from dropping off his called 911. He tried to make it inside the barn but it was too late. With that vote, Charlotte City leaders made it against the law for businesses and taxis to discriminate against members of the Lgbt Community and use the bathrooms of their choice.
