once the owner rebuilds. it states clearly that in a fire, tenants in a rent controlled building have a right to return at the same rent and with the same terms of their lease. reporter: the only exception is if the owner obtained a permit for a full rebuild. but this week, the department of building inspection granted the owner only a partial rebuild. this report states the foundation and parts of the ground floor were not comprom e compromised and are in good shape. one person was taken to the hospital the night of the fire. of course i would like to come back. we live here for 43 years. reporter: the fire, which occurred more than a year ago, was cause bid outdated wiring. the owner has refused to work with the city ever since. inspectors have been trying to enter the building. it was only two weeks ago that inspectors went through the building. we tried unsuccessfully to reach the owner at his house. we ask that the city step up and take action, show what it mea

arrested. for their alleged involvement in the murder. ## a lyon county jury has acquitted a silver springs man on two of three charges, in the death of a 2-year-old boy. cody wallace was found not guilty of first degree murder, and manslaughter. but the jury returned a guilty verdict for child abuse, with substantial bodily harm. the charges stem from a 2010 incident, when wallace was left alone with his girlfriend s son. wallace called 9-1-1, and said the boy stopped breathing. the boy later died. wallace faces 2-to-20 years he ll be sentenced this spring. ### breaking at this hour. new details about a deadly shooting spree in the last hour investigators have confirmed the arrest of a woman they say gave the shooter the guns used in the attack. a vigil in honor of the victims has just concluded. the sheriff says he believes a restraining order served 90 minutes 38-year-old cedric ford to go on the rampage. elizabeth hur reports. one day after the latest mass shooting in
