Then allegedly tried to run into one of those plane clothes narcotics officers and took off. The car blew out front tire as you can see at the front end of this. As they were chasing it down torresdale avenue past bleigh street. Here towards rhawn street. Collided with a Philadelphia Police car here 1512 and another car behind that. Took off a second time. Officers finally slowed the car down. They pulled over as if they were going to get out as they got out the car took off again and hit this 1512 car yet a second time. Police were able to stop the car here at torresdale and rhawn street. Both suspects got out a 51yearold driver and 30yearold passenger. During this Pursuit Police tell us the suspects were tossing drugs out of the vehicles. Vineland saw Lightning Strike homes and lighting up some of those homes, the biggest threat last night was the Lightning Strikes, they were very powerful as they pushed through and thankfully all is quiet as we go into the overnight hours. The severe storm that moved through overnight, knocked out power to thousands of people across the region and one community in Mercer County spent the day without power because of a Lightning Strike.
