And mayor breed did say that elementary schoolchildren could go back to the classroom as early as in month or next month saying she is very concerned about the future of children. But the School District says for that to happen, they need training and protocols in place, they need three month supply of ppe and an agreement with the Teachers Union. Well be mostly in the mid 70s for many of our spots in the inland valleys. And then as we go into the afternoon, or this afternoon well see those temperatures in the low to mid 80s. People from encampments into permanent housing. Ive been really upset because when i first got here it was deplorable conditions. In the stair center . Yes. It seems to be a glorified homeless encampment. There was so much drugs being used and the doors were slamming every two minutes you cant sleep because they are up all night in and out of the buildings. James says he moved into the stair center in september. During his two months there he says the building has gone a full week without hot water. Had things that didnt work, flooded bathrooms, broken washers and dryers and fire extinguishers that were more than six months overdue for inspection. Doesnt feel safe . No. Is it clean in there . No. That is why it was so deplorable. Bathrooms were disgusting. James said the only suannapeblo t en rmthe firsg t was in usincoonnci when he went to move in, he found out he was going to have a roommate. Someone he had never met. You cant hold it against me. It was rented to me as a single room.

Weve got some rain clouds to the south in Southern California and that cold front on the way to the north. So today, well call it partly cloudy. We have the air quality that is just not what were used to. Right. But, you know, its been a little bit better into the afternoon. But still covered in blue here. That means that were going to have hazy conditions all throughout the day. Sea breeze is going to be with us. So well continue to see and feel that which could improve at some point, allowing for some better air quality in spots. We have this live look from the abc 7 roof camera of the super blue blood moon. A partial eclipse began at 3 48 this morning. It will be a total eclipse in a few minutes at 4 52. The reason its a super is because its very close to us right now. The blue part is because its the second full moon of the month, which doesnt happen very often. The moon is taking on a reddish tint during the eclipse. Thats where you get the blood part of the title. A watch party is bein
