People died and three others were injured after a vehicle struck a bus shelter. This happened in San Franciscos west portal neighborhood. Weve learned one of the People Killed in the collision was a child. Abc seven News Reporter cornell bernard was at the scene and spoke to investigators. Well, i can tell you what happened was a real tragedy. Mayor london breed, speaking at the scene of a horrific crash at a bus stop on uloa street and lenox way car going eastbound on yola, uh struck a bus shelter which had four people, two adults and two children. The fire chief says two people were killed, an adult and a child. Obviously, there are multiple calls to 911, so police and fire worked together to treat all the victims, to assess and treat them. And unfortunately, two were really, really critically injured and there was no hope for them. Three people were taken to the hospital, including the driver of this suv, which struck the bus shelter. More than 30 cars were broken into from last night into early this morning, with a variety of different personal items stolen tonight.
