I had to lower temperatures overnight. Winds are drying down, such a dry air mass, clear skies a perfect night for a cold radiational cooling. Lets start with temperatures right now. Its 19 already in gaithersburg, now downtown at nationalist 27 but they seem to run warm all the time but its low 20s elsewhere, 22 out into gaithersburg and fredrick, looking at 21 in hagerstown and winds are drying down so kind of a doubleedged sword. We dont have a wind chill but that enables the temperature to drop to lower levels so wake up weather not much wind, a lot of sun to start but look at the temperatures. 1626 at 5 00 and by 7 00, were 1224 and by 9 00, 2230 still well below freezing. Only good is no winds in the morning. Winds will occur again tomorrow evening. 6 00 on our futurecast lots effeteness and these numbers are still high. 17 in gaithersburg, 18 leesburg, 20 in manassas and 24 downtown and by 8 00 temperatures still in the low to mid 20s.
