It has grown into one of the largest publishers in the country with catholic books and communication. Well take a brief break and join us afterward to learn more about catholic reading and writing. Why dont you tell us about yourself and what you do at the company. I wear a couple of different hats. Im a developmental editor. Which means books that need a little bit of help, i try to help. I review copy editing and proofreading done by other editors and help move books through the production process. Then we have an Acquisitions Team and i serve on that. We review manuscripts to see which we would like to publish. These manuscripts come from . A
Well, as always. So it is a friday. That is our bright spot, tgif. Like i said, teacher who came up good, who need to work on some stuff, we will have a meeting after the show. Yes, we can all get there. Good morning. Excited for weekend. It is friday. We will get some sun, little rain, little sun, little mix. It is not going to be constantly perfect. Gunshot i stopped and i listened a little bit more and everybody just kept running and more and more people saw i picked up my son, dropped everything i had and went for the back of the nearest exit in the back of the store. Reporter obviously youre just doing shopping at a crowded time in a crowded store. Yes. Reporter what was going through your mind want did you see and hear. I heard the same thing. Like i said i heard some kind of raucus and i just assumed it was just an argument or whatever but again they said gunshots and stuff, and we start running, and like i said, the one guy said he saw everything. He was up front and he said that one guy shot the one guy in the back three times, and, um reporter just to collar fight commissioner telling us he was shot one time. One time. This fluid. Were still learning it. Everybody had a different story. They were saying it so, um, you know, your mind goes blank when Something Like that. You just follow the crowd, you know wherever it goes.
Evening in response to the violent rally in charlotte charlottesville, virginia ton night a Virginia State Police Spokesperson saying it was not a good day for charlottesville and from all appearances that is an understatement on many leve levels. It was build as a White Nationalism event taking place in charlottesville, virginia and from the onset, there was tension and chaos. Erupt flood extreme violence. Between supporters anti, protesters and law enforcement. We were hoping it would not elevate to this level of the violence we witnessed amongst participants. In the crowds on all sides they were throwing bottles, throwing soda cans with settlement in them, they were throwing paint balls, um, they were fighting, breaking out attacking one another. Reporter the governor declaring a state of emergency and police in yi riot gear ordered everyone to leave the park where the unite the right rally was taking place. Around the same time a car drove into the crowd and one person was killed.
