Damien John Geljon, 44, pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Monday to the offence. Police prosecutor Carl Spargo read the facts of Geljon’s case to the court and Acting Magistrate John Milburn. At 9.30am on January 1 this year, police intercepted Geljon driving on the Bruce Highway at Benaraby in relation to another matter. Geljon told police he was going to pick up his dog from his parent’s house before submitting to a roadside breath test. He admitted to police he was drinking the night before, but was unsure how much he had to drink. Geljon returned a blood-alcohol reading of 0.077. ....

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said officers attended a location off the Bruce Highway at 2.43pm. Curtis Ross Zimmerlie pleaded guilty in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on January 11 to one count each of trespass, stealing and fraud. Police prosecutor Sergeant Darrell Dalton said police had received a complaint on September 21, 2019 that unknown persons had entered a property on Gladstone Benaraby Rd. Sgt Dalton said Zimmerlie drove a vehicle onto the property and removed several vehicle parts, mainly radiators, between September 16 and 21. The court heard Zimmerlie attended the metal recyclers on three separate occasions to sell the stolen vehicle parts. ....
