James yesterday was a hot one. Yeah. As fit as advertised. Yeah. Everybody found something to do to get out of the heat. John, good morning. Yeah, i hope anyways because it wasnt fun to be out in sweltering heat for too terribly long yesterday. But what relief weve got starting today on into the weekend couldnt get here soon enough for sure. You can see the evidence of that relief right here in your camera situated at downtown San Francisco. Lot of fog out there this morning. That cool sea breeze kicking back in yesterday. More yesterday afternoon and really cooling some of the coast off initially. Now the rest of us current temperatures are in the 50s to low 60s with fairfield sitting right at 60 degrees. Concord and 58. Well, oakland in vallejo, each at 59 degrees right now. Winds notably out of the south and west and is bringing that cool breeze right through the golden gate, 15 Miles Per Hour through San Francisco, eventuallyfrom the bay into the delta and fairfield at around 20 Mi

Good morning. Absolutely. Today piece cake compared to yesterday when yesterday was a tough one for sure. We were setting records for a lot of the bay areas far as that he goes, you know, october can be hot. But yesterday was too hot today. Right sweet spot in the middle between a cool weekend in the heat of yesterday. You can see that cloud cover moved in across the bay return. The marine layer ocean cooled air really moderating temps today. So weve got our cool great morning for some of us 50s to 60s for current temperatures while later on today will stay in the 80s at the warmest winds from the coastline making their big return. You can see those winds pushing from the ocean towards our inland areas out of the delta. 2 that cool delta breeze and fairfield and conquered. Going to be welcome. Coo
Of the city also want protection too because monster homes are not just in Corona Heights. Its already started and going on for a number of years throughout San Francisco, so i hope that the supervisors take this very seriously, and will support this and eventually expand it to other parts of the city. Thank you. Thank you very much. John. Thank you. I am also with the San Francisco bay area Renters Federation. I think i wanted to sum up some of our concerns that we have been discussing on our online forums. The first concern is will this spread to every neighborhood in San Francisco now being titled to legislation to preserve their neighborhood and visual and economic character . We think this could be an impediment to adding the housing that we need in the future. We should think about the controls we are using to keep giant homes out could be used to keep poor people out. Not only does this legislation not only this legislation but existing law in zoning do keep poor people out of t

To approach this very carefully because of various loopholes as supervisor wiener mentioned. There are loopholes and that includes Building Inspection Department and what they are allowed to do, so just as a warning this is great. That you have this heard before this committee today because many other residential neighborhoods are going to be affected with neighborhood character and this needs to be taken on a serious level throughout the city. Thank you. Thank you. Next speaker michael morris. My name is michael morris. I have been a resident on state street since 1978. State street is a narrow widening street and the longest block in San Francisco and usually parking on both sides of the street. In a recent year i noticed a big increase on the traffic on the street and loring of the quality of the driving on the street. I now see that just up the street where there is a sharp bend there is a multiunit apartment block going up with garages opening right on to the street where theres a
