all about. it is what we want as a family and i'm going to spend a lot of time with them and figure out in the future but is next. >> laura: both men, world-famous. both men are at the top of their profession. both stayed longer than any one who came before them. and both are admired widely by journalists who comfortable world and both are at a crossroads, getting to the end of the line. will he or won't he? that is what the sports media, asking after the tampa bay buccaneers lost to the l.a. rams. >> what you'd be surprised if brady walks away now. >> yeah. i think tom brady is ultimately going to be back. >> what do you think add the the percent next chance if he retires? >> new reporting shows that tom brady is seriously considering his next move, family and health. major considerations for him. he has pushed the limits of what we thought possible for the aging human body. he is an amazing leader for his team. brady is 44 years old, seven super bowl rings. unreal. so if he retires, means start tight end gronkowski may leave at the entire team is going to suffer as a result. fans are going to be -- you bet, if he retires. they are also going to celebrate his career and all of his achievements. they are going to look back at his classic come from behind magic moments. you remembered what they were. but if fauci retires, biden will be better off and the country will definitely be better off because fauci has missed his mark so many times on so many issues. and the reason fauci gets paid the big bucks is directly related, it was supposed to be, at least, to his ability to inform the nation, top health and explain the basic facts with real credibility. but fauci has failed at his task. he is partisan. he is self-aggrandizing, and he is now obviously short tempered. his talents are limited. he is a pure logic -- bureaucratic insiders who is a good networker professor and can be good leaks effective at maneuvering against people who disagreed with his pronouncement. look at what he did to the great barrington doctors and how he helped steer the entire conversation away from the wuhan lab story. >> dr. fauci: if you look at the virologist, not the people who want to politicize this, they tell you that it is much that much more likely that this was a natural evolution from an animal, it was mark. >> laura: in 2020, fauci was very skilled at dissing president trump with his facial expression his body language, his intonation and of course, all of those off the record interviews with his journalist pals. he worked up everyone behind the scenes to stop inconvenient narratives before they gain a foothold. so these are the skills of a down and dirty political operatives more so then a well respected unbiased leader in public health. unlike tom brady, he is really overstayed his welcome. we told trump sidelined him. we told biden to do the same. but fauci still topically holds on. .>> dr. fauci: you keep coming back to the personal attacks on me that have no relevance to reality. go to a rand paul website and you see fire dr. fauci with a little box that says contribute here. >> laura: i love the props. but nothing faces fauci. whenever he is wrong, he either digs interchanges the subject port mystical post. the saint skills and talents that made fauci a formidable weapon for the democrat party are working against democrats in 2022 and certainly will in 2024 if he is still around. he is a drag on their party, unbeatable brand. it is always raining viruses in. fauciville. >> dr. fauci: you have new variance emerging. we have disinformation that is destructive to a conference of endeavor. >> laura: as long as this gloomy, angry, pessimistic, divisive figure is became for the administration, the biden team is doomed for the ugliest crash and burn since 1994 in these midterms. he is the equivalent of cottage cheese at the back of the refrigerator, you know, but you forgot about it. it is long past its expiration date. it is important to know when to say goodbye gracefully. brady is 37 years younger than anthony fauci. but at his age, he seems to have more patients got more perspective, and more clarity about life. imagine if brady was saying that he wanted to hang onto prove his doubters wrong, which is what fauci seems to be telegraphing in some of his public statements. at this point, fauci knows that half the country has tuned him out. but he wants to hang on just to annoy us for a little while longer. how arrogant is that and how sad it is. sync with his current crop of old folkies running the democratic party. they are almost staying on for despite of it at this point. >> i do know why people are saying, you need to step aside for me. no. if you want my seeds, come get it. >> laura: 81 years young. nothing positive to show for the past 13 months. only the wreckage they have left behind by. but they are still hanging on. obviously, being a senior citizen does not disqualify and one from making huge positive contributions. remember, benjamin franklin was at the constitutional convention at age 81, same age as clyburn. reagan left office days before he turned 78. they are both powering figures. many more examples as well. but age is supposed to bring us maturity and wisdom. not vindictiveness and stupidity. both traits of today's democrat elders. >> they are not on the weeks a present that vote, they are nullifying elections. sink out well, what does not matter who gets more votes? >> laura: i still don't know what she means by that. but back to brady, whatever he decides that he is going to remain respected and beloved as the greatest quarterback of all time, a beautiful example of an inspirational team leader. and you can hear this in his voice. he loves his teammates and he wants them to do well. that is a great leader. he took tampa bay from near bottom of the barrel to super bowl champs? he is headed for that hall of fame, obviously. but as for anthony fauci, joe biden, nancy pelosi, chuck schumer, they will think they deserve to be in the local equivalent of the hall of fame, but after they leave or they finally retired they will be rightly forgotten. future liberal historians are not going to look back on 2021 as a great you can for their worldview. so they will have to basically trying to write them out of the history books altogether. how much do you hear about the glory of the carter years these days? and that is the angle. joining me now, the host of the podcast and kid nichols, political analyst and senior lecturer at the university of maryland and gentleman to breaking late today, they knew what we were doing the angle on, on announcing from speaker pelosi, trying to discount all of those rumors they have been hearing kept saying she will seek reelection and seems to reverse that earlier about to turn over her party leadership. jason, as a democrat, is there really no one else at this point? there's no youngblood? it is just hold on regardless of what the results have been? >> jason: well, i think what jim clyburn was said was correct. if you wanted to come get it and get the votes. that is the wake our system works, unless you bring in term limits, totally be open to the conversation and i'm glad that you want to get rid of rogers or don young fort smith or mitch mcconnell the first three unnamed have 130 years in congress combined. rogers has been since 1973, five years before i was one. so i think, you know, just be had about bringing in term limits. but if you want those seats, come get it. biden got the votes. >> laura: there's no exit. so jason, i get you. that is a whole separate debate. what we are talking about, and you can chime in on this having the maturity to know that what you did is not working, from the cities to the crime to border, to the economy, it is not working and i bet some of those republicans should retire. you are right, jason. but these are the guys in charge now. with pelosi digging in. you put reaction to all of this tonight? >> well, my reaction is, yes, i agree, that disk can be a bipartisan phenomenon. but what you are really dealing with here are people who came as young alligators to swamp. the real difference between brady and fauci is that difference between the athletic field and a swamp. if you show up as a young alligator in the swamp, you see all of these goodies in the swamp. you go for them, but bigger alligators both muscle you out. realize, wow, i really don't know how to operate into a swamp. it is going to take me many years until i figure out all of the various swamp arts that i need to fully capitalize on this position to in. and so these guys learn the art of stepping people in the back. it takes a full career to perfect his arts and i think at the times that these guys are doing well and cashing in and by cashing in, i don't just mean money. i mean money and power and ego and all of the benefits of the swamp. they become reluctant to leave. it is like i invested my whole career getting to the disappointment. why would i want to turn over the keys now? >> laura: when they are holding plans for you at reagan national airport, which rumor was they used to do. that is a pretty good deal, just that aspect of it. jason, biden's team, we learned, has completely reshaped his schedule and his movements around covid. the fear that biden catching covid has pocket the white house to that limit its travel and interactions with voters. that logistical challenges grow tremendously when he stays somewhere up overnight as they try to keep him in a covid safe bubble in a new environment. so jason, how can he expect to effectively govern the country if he is doing the kind of hologram presidency as he did the hologram campaign. he said he was going to be with the people. that is what he promised last week at his big press conference. >> jason: well, i hope that he actually speaks to the american people. that is what it is going to take to win or to avoid the catastrophe that you talked about for democrats in the midterm. he has to get out. but keeping him safe from covid test to keep him from doing the labored breathing that we saw president trump doing when he caught covid. when he was hospitalized, and wasn't able to. >> laura: wait a second. the vaccine works. right? why are we saying that he is boosted? his whole thing is get vaxxed and boosted. he has done what you spoke to do. so why does he have to hide? that is michael point about it. >> jason: absolutely, that is true. absolutely. that seems to keep you out of the hospital for 90% of the people and 90% of the time. going back to the age factor, the fact that he is in his late 70s why take a chance? you know? why go out there and take unnecessary risks when you can keep healthy and keep safe but so i believe that, of course, he will -- >> laura: he is president! i don't mean -- i'm not trying to jump on a new. you could say this about republicans, too. he or she at any age is president of the united states. they have to be out and about with the people. they can't for foreign policy, you don't want a guy who is like, oh, my god, i'm going to be in a covid bubble. that is the point. is it not. >> dinesh: i think the problem with biden is a lot deeper. the problem with biden's he sold the american people, on a completely different person, then he actually did. he sold the american people aren't unity. he is a divider. keep sold himself on the fact that he is this gentle guide that is open to reason and argument. he is a bitter, cranky, and precious old man. the more he shows himself to the american people get the more they think about this is not really what i signed up for. i'm getting major buyer's remorse right about now. >> laura: jason, just finally, if you could give nancy pelosi advised that what you tell her to penn state with it until her 82nd birthday or keep going? what age is she? yeah, she is 81 now. so 82? keep it going? >> jason: i think she has been winning so much. she does not necessarily need my advice. >> laura: what? what is cheap winning? >> jason: i -- >> laura: what is she winning? >> jason: i would give democrats some advice start looking at grooming successors to some of these people who are going to be out of the way sooner or later. >> laura: okay. we have made progress. gentlemen, great to see you both tonight. thank you. and back to fauci. his apocalyptic pronouncements seem to soueid not just the public but among some of his cronies as well. first came the cdc big admission that after immunity was stronger at the anti-vaccine and they were forced to admit that cloth masks work with this. we told you that almost two years ago. and almost of the most strident supporters of these mandates are begin to see the light. >> we are dealing with a less verlander strain. the expectations will get resettled a little bit. we need to look at the things that might not necessarily be contributing that most to reduce further spread in society. >> laura: joining me now is dr. peter mccullough based in dallas, texas, first of all, you are awesome at the rally over the weekend, i watched all of the video and was not able to be there. that was such an impressive show of support and clarity and it was a diverse crowd. it was awesome. i want to say that first and foremost. do you sense a shift in some of the thinking of the medical talking heads? >> dr. mccullough: it is clear and i think they are listening to senator ron johnson who understands pandemic response better than anybody. he held a five hour senate panel yesterday titled "a second opinion." over dozens of physicians, clinical investigators, scientists, nurses, patients, and they made it clear that america has always -- always needed early treatment for covid-19. and that the science is settled. that the vaccines are not of next week sufficiently effective and they are not safe enough to mandate. >> laura: well, biden's surgeon general now believes the key to ending the pandemic apparently is censorship. watch. >> it is not just about what government can do. the only way we get past this information is if we use the. that we have to limit the spread of misinformation. that will be a critical part of getting through this pandemic. >> laura: dr. mccullough, you notice and i know this. they know this all too well. they have been censoring anyone who questions their narrative, including treating physicians who saw success with certain therapeutics. >> dr. mccullough: i asked that question yesterday. on the senate record now, who is actually -- has been the recipient of the censorship or reprisal, 80% of people in that room rate their hand, doctors, scientists, nurses, patients, believe me, censorship is incredibly divisive in the united states today, in the scientific community. the high-quality doctors always cite that sentiment. those who claim misinformation never have any backup. of the problem is those who are hunting misinformation are the spreaders of misinformation. >> laura: there are a lot of folks that are talk to, some off-line because they are afraid of losing their privileges at various hospitals. they say that they are very worried now about this talk of omicron design booster, a special booster just for omicron, they are buried about the antibody -dependent enhancement and other issues that may come down the road. how concerned are you about this because it is gaining steam. >> dr. mccullough: on the back end of omicron, uncube, showed a few weeks ago, i predicted that this was going to be a rapid, you know, et al. narrow outbreak. the world health organization has already put out a warning that future boosters can we connect the immune system and by the temp the vaccine for omicron could be ready, it definitely needs to be tested, that variant is basically going to be extinct and we could be onto new brian torras hopefully at the end of the pandemic. it was clear that we made it clear that the emergency phase of the epidemic is closed now. we should move onto just treating the occasional high-risk patient and then moving on with normal life. >> laura: dr. mccullough, thank you. great to see you tonight. and why did the biden administration revoke the news, speaking of this entire covid issue, of the emergency use authorization? florida has benefited greatly from the treatments and governor ron desantis thinks there's something more to this move. he is here next. he will penn stater. >> laura: the biden administration just escalated its war against life-saving covid therapeutic. today, the fda revoked its emergency use authorization of monoclonal antibody treatments claiming that they are highly unlikely to be effective against omicron variance. well, first of all, how do we know there's zero delta in the entire population of covid patients? the fda wanted to be consistent they should, then i guess be questioning the use of vaccines against omicron. they, too, are dramatically less effective against the new variant. of course, you know, the impact of this has been immediate and devastating. florida has been forced to shut down. >> sites across the state, denying access to the thousands and thousands of patients. that has understandably upset floridians and florida governor ron desantis who joins me now. governor kemp welcome to the show. your reaction to this decision and a proclamation by anthony fauci that is 100% omicron now. so no more monoclonal. "the ingraham angle" the -- >> governor desantis: first of all, that is all modeling. these were highly effective against the delta very into keep people out of hospitals. we have been using them with patient coming in during the omicron wave and we have seen success editorially. we have not run a clinical trial. but neither did the fda. they were lying on one study, which was an observational study. it was not a clinical trial. it was not peer-reviewed, that said the two monoclonal's are not effective. it was done by a consultant for one of the rival drug companies. you do clinical trials, maybe it will end up being the case. but that is very flimsy evidence to take this treatment away from people and we have thousands of people in the cube in florida, laura, and they all of a sudden make up to saying that you are out of luck because of that whims of the biden administration? what they are doing is just fundamentally wrong. >> laura: okay and as we know, people who have been vax and boosted are still getting omicron. thankfully it looks like omicron itself, faxed or unpacked is very mild. but if that is tibble robert rocha governor kemp then it kind of throws into question the entire approach to omicron if that is what they are going to do here. , and they have, as you said, no data. so what do you think is really going on here? they really seem to have a bug you know where about florida especially. you bug them. your handling of this bug them a lot. >> governor desantis: laura, if you look at this remdesivir, which people like fauci have talked about being the standard of care for hospitalized patients, there's not a great data on that. they are only focusing on the two monoclonal antibodies. at yes, i do think that they were upset when florida did that because their view is you should only write about vaccines. don't discuss treatment. we reject that for the reason is that. people are still getting in fact,, or even who have gone through vaccinations. at their vaccine sites, laura, it is usually 75 to 80% of the people that go into the get treatment have been vaccinated. many of them have gotten booster shots, and yet they are still getting in fact. this is not on the up and up here. and look for in florida, we just anticipate hostility from this administration. that is just what they do. they are much more interested in picking legal fight then they are of actually being there for the people and our state that need this assistance. >> laura: and governor, it is not just the covid issue, they are coming after you for the washington post reported over the past six months, florida's home prices have risen faster than those of any other state, according to the analysis of the load data. that lack of affordable housing presents a political challenge for governor desantis. bringing as many as a hundred new residents to state. so they are coming after you for your successful real estate market and i guess, i don't know. they want to push to pound peach county to have more, what? affordable housing or -- i don't know what the complaint is. ultimate. >> governor desantis: if you look at the policy, they have turned in, they have turned great cities in this country state into the soaked -- dystopias. they have crime out of control. homelessness. they have all these different problems and they are still mired in a lot of coronavirus restrictions. we are a free state. i mean, we are the rock of freedom if you know states, and we are building their future off of that. people are respond to that and -- but i think it is much different than, say, the last housing boom, where you had a lot of speculation. i think there's just a lot of authentic demand for people to want to move to florida. the biden inflation. you talk to homebuilders and their inputs have gone up dramatically. the supply chain is a disaster. they are fueling the inflation with their reckless policies. >> laura: governor, finally, i need to get your response that another game being played intermediate. >> what is with the bad blood? >> we have to talk about freddy versus jason and that is desantis v trump. >> criticizing donald trump for being too liberal on covid. that is exactly what the republican party is doing. >> laura: okay, governor. what is the truth here? do you still think -- speak to president trump? are you okay. do we have to have dr. phil come in and mediate? >> governor desantis: the corporate media is trying to manufacture something where something does not exist. he endorsed me when everyone said, don't do it. and then when he ran for reelection, we had his back in florida and raised a bunch of money. he had a great margin of victory in florida. we see eye to eye on all of the big issues. i have zero animosity or anything. they are just trying to degrade divisions. wire they doing that? because they know biden is failing. he had the worst first year of any president in the united states history since the 1800s. and they know he is failing on all fronts. so they are trying to divert attention away from those failures and trying to great fishers and that republican party. that ain't going to happen. >> laura: governor, it is great to see you tonight, as always. thank you. and why has the border of ukraine become more important our political elites the united states? we have reaction to that. stay with us. >> welcome. hunter biden warns of sanctions against the other putin's finances. the pentagon has put 8500 u.s. troops on heightened alert hundred the point if requested by nato. they don't has already reinforced eastern europe. russia is demanding that ukraine will not be admitted into nato but denies planning an attack. and the second nypd officer died from his injuries. 27 now wilbert was shot after being called to an. but by a woman who needed help with her adult son. 22-year-old rookie officer jason rivera was also killed. a third officer shot the suspect also died from his injuries. and marion rafferty, now back to "the ingraham angle." ♪ ♪ >> laura: after a three-week delay, border patrols just announced that its officers arrested nearly 179,000 illegals in december. that is up 142% since last december, 2020. that is when we had some sane immigration policies under trump. instead of sending them back to mexico the biden administration has taken a different approach at fox's own bill melugin witnessed it in texas today. >> they were just dropped off here. thousands of them, they are leaving. you can see these mother -- manila folders. there i know families. there are no children in this group. some of them, you can see, have ankle monitors on. that is alternative detention. >> laura: , rds illegals going for the real question maybe, where they are not going. >> miami? >> atlanta. >> laura: wherever they want to win. presumably many unvaxxed illegals can get free rides wherever they please. but unvaxxed truckers, cross the border puts and they don't really care. as jen psaki made clear earlier today. >> they are -- the placement immigration proceedings and it could be placement in an alternative detention program. >> reporter: a very small sample size, one of 47,000 of these migrants that were given notices that report did not show up. so white let them into the u.s. unsupervised in the first place? >> secretary psaki: well, again, we have a stringent protocols and processes that we implement here. >> laura: here now is senator tom cotton to react at all of this. i think of what we have done to our children over the past two years. what we stilled do to our children. we are separating them if they are not mask kick into separate areas. people can just walk across our border, unvaxxed, didn't get shipped basically wherever they want on the taxpayers' dom tibbetts take a job for less wages than their traditional americans would get. how do we stop this? >> senator cotton: yeah, laura, it is criminally negligent. they are trying to shut down schools or insisting that kindergartners wear masks. your tax dollars are supporting single grown men crossing this border and being shipped wherever they want to coach. you saw in that video. that is a far cry from what that federal courts have ordered that biden administration do which is to we implement that in trump's remain in mexico policy. i was shocked by the biden administration's response. they said they sometimes help to get these migrants to put their final destination. will, laura, when someone crosses our border illegally, their final destination should always be turning them around and sending the back to post home country. it should not be at attacks. expense to go wherever they want in the united states. >> laura: to your point to senator, according, they don't we have from december, that numbers of those who are actually sent back work very, very low, just a few hundred. so doesn't this mean that they define what there said about remain in mexico and they are not doing that? >> senator cotton: i don't see how you could reach any other conclusion, laura. when you see, video of single grown men. these are not pregnant women. these are not frail older people. these are single adult men who are coming here not because of violence in their home country or to escape persecution but because they wanted to get a better job, a job that an american citizen could be doing. that is in direct violation of the court's border. one of the reasons we know this, that the biden administration provide this. i hope the court holds him accountable. i hope they hold secretary mayorkas accountable for this. >> laura: if they keep doing what they do, america is essentially changed in profound ways going forward, maybe forever. so do you discount the possibility that the house, actually bring up a serious perhaps impeachment inquiry just on this issue of the border alone? is that out of the realm of possibility? >> senator cotton: no, laura. i don't think it is under the run of possibility. because of all of the abuses of the biden and administration, i think with the department of homeland security has been to undermined american sovereignty, to open our borders to undercut wages and jobs for american workers is probably the most egregious and they are open about it. secretary mayorkas has said it in speeches that being illegally present in the country is no longer a priority for deportation. they admit these things publicly. >> laura: finally, it looks like senator chuck schumer is now under fire for his handling of things in the senate on the democratic side. politico reporting that staffers -- you must be watching this, maybe a of schadenfreude here. what is this really quick? >> senator cotton: i can tell you that chuck schumer is protecting, number one, that is chuck schumer. he is afraid of a left-wing primary challenge. he is afraid of alexandra because of cortez and he is using his position to protect himself and protect his left flank. he is not using it to solve problems for the american people and he has forced his members to take very bad both and they cast out people like mark kelly in arizona. going to be centerpieces of our campaign this fall thanks to chuck schumer. >> laura: all right, senator, great to see you. thank you. up next, reaching out to this show with a warning. what is happening in canada right now is slowly being attempted right here in the united states. we want to hear what he has to say. so we took him off on his offer.stay with us. >> laura: it seems pretty obvious to me that democrats wish we were more like canada. i mean, let's face it, canada has a lot of things they wish we had here in the united states. for instance, they have no first amendment in canada which means government could punish citizens for saying things it doesn't like. there's universal healthcare and they tax c02 emissions in canada, democrats want to impose that here. now my next guest says that should terrify americans. joining me now is theo fleury, former nhl phenom and two-time olympic gold medalist. theo, great to see you. it does seem like there's a subtle creep by leaders here in the united states to make us more like canada, but in your estimation as a canadian, that would be a mistake? >> yes, very much so. basically for the last two years, basically for the last two years we've had a prime minister who has vaccine-derangement syndrome where every day he stands up at the stump and that's all he talks about. he doesn't talk about the economy, supply chain or us losing our rights, lockdowns, nothing. it's just straight back feed, but what is happening, laura, is right now in canada, we have one of the biggest revolutions happening. you probably haven't heard about it, because nobody's talking about it, but right now, there's 50,000 truckers and about 1.4 million people headed to the parliament in ottawa, and they're going to stay there until trudeau resigns or they give us back all of our freedoms and rights. you know, when you separate people, it's easy to, you know, to create power through separation, but like i said, what we're seeing in the country right now with these truckers and -- it -- honestly, it has ignited the whole entire country of canada, and i know that -- i've been spending a lot of time on social media helping promote the truckers and getting their word out and all of that, and so even i, you know, big, tough hockey player have shed a few tears, because i haven't seen my country this behind something and this excited about something in a very, very, very long time, so hopefully -- hopefully -- >> laura: theo, it takes a lot to get the canadians angry. it's like the minnesota nice -- if minnesota is nice, canada is like jubilant all the time, because they just didn't it's not a protest culture in canada, correct? >> right, that's the thing. in canada, we're considered really nice and and all of those things. the thing about canadians, our long, long fuse burns out. that's where we are in the country. everybody wants change and we definitely want to have an impact with this movement or revolution or whatever you want to call it. we want change to happen, and you know, i'm sitting in downtown calgary right now where this place used to be, like, one of the biggest meccas for oil and gas in the entire world, and 30% of the office -- or, 30% of the office space is filled, and the rest is empty, and so we went from this incredibly bustling, amazing place to, you know, people are losing their jobs, you know, we've had a lockdown. >> laura: ghost town. horrific. theo, theo -- >> for me, i played 10 times for my country and i put my jersey on and had the maple leaf on, and i know i was representing the people of canada, and i could tell you that what is happening in the country right now is every -- it's way bigger than than, and that's why i've loaned my name to this, because i'm a patriot, and i like my freedom and i want my freedom back and so do the majority of canadians. we don't want government no longer involved in our lives, and -- >> laura: this is a warning. yep. theo, we have to roll, but this is a warning to americans who are sitting by ideally who say i can't -- idley who say i can't fight, i'm too scared. your message is to them you have no other choice but to stand and to speak the truth on this. we thank you for your voice. we wish the truckers and all of the people supporting them on the supply chain issue the best of luck. thank you. why might fauci be so reluctant to step down? the last fight reveals the media's hand in all of this. >> laura, why would fauci retire when he's got the press eating out of the palm of his hand? sincerely appreciative you're not walking away from this post. you make us smarter, safer and better every day. thank you so much, dr. fauci. >> thank you for having me. appreciate it. >> people born december 24th, they're really special. >> laura: that's right in the tradition of "60 minutes," isn't it? the tough follow-up questions. well, that's it for us tonight. greg gutfeld takes it all from here. >> greg: you just want me to fail. everybody here wants me to fail! [applause] everybody -- keep clapping. you're nothing without me. happy tuesday, everyone. is it really happy? not when it's day two of... [suspension music] joe biden son of a bitch insurrection.

all about. it is what we want as a family and i'm going to spend a lot of time with them and figure out in the future but is next. >> laura: both men, world-famous. both men are at the top of their profession. both stayed longer than any one who came before them. and both are admired widely by journalists who comfortable world and both are at a crossroads, getting to the end of the line. will he or won't he? that is what the sports media, asking after the tampa bay buccaneers lost to the l.a. rams. >> what you'd be surprised if brady walks away now. >> yeah. i think tom brady is ultimately going to be back. >> what do you think add the the percent next chance if he retires? >> new reporting shows that tom brady is seriously considering his next move, family and health. major considerations for him. he has pushed the limits of what we thought possible for the aging human body. he is an amazing leader for his team. brady is 44 years old, seven super bowl rings. unreal. so if he retires, means start tight end gronkowski may leave at the entire team is going to suffer as a result. fans are going to be -- you bet, if he retires. they are also going to celebrate his career and all of his achievements. they are going to look back at his classic come from behind magic moments. you remembered what they were. but if fauci retires, biden will be better off and the country will definitely be better off because fauci has missed his mark so many times on so many issues. and the reason fauci gets paid the big bucks is directly related, it was supposed to be, at least, to his ability to inform the nation, top health and explain the basic facts with real credibility. but fauci has failed at his task. he is partisan. he is self-aggrandizing, and he is now obviously short tempered. his talents are limited. he is a pure logic -- bureaucratic insiders who is a good networker professor and can be good leaks effective at maneuvering against people who disagreed with his pronouncement. look at what he did to the great barrington doctors and how he helped steer the entire conversation away from the wuhan lab story. >> dr. fauci: if you look at the virologist, not the people who want to politicize this, they tell you that it is much that much more likely that this was a natural evolution from an animal, it was mark. >> laura: in 2020, fauci was very skilled at dissing president trump with his facial expression his body language, his intonation and of course, all of those off the record interviews with his journalist pals. he worked up everyone behind the scenes to stop inconvenient narratives before they gain a foothold. so these are the skills of a down and dirty political operatives more so then a well respected unbiased leader in public health. unlike tom brady, he is really overstayed his welcome. we told trump sidelined him. we told biden to do the same. but fauci still topically holds on. .>> dr. fauci: you keep coming back to the personal attacks on me that have no relevance to reality. go to a rand paul website and you see fire dr. fauci with a little box that says contribute here. >> laura: i love the props. but nothing faces fauci. whenever he is wrong, he either digs interchanges the subject port mystical post. the saint skills and talents that made fauci a formidable weapon for the democrat party are working against democrats in 2022 and certainly will in 2024 if he is still around. he is a drag on their party, unbeatable brand. it is always raining viruses in. fauciville. >> dr. fauci: you have new variance emerging. we have disinformation that is destructive to a conference of endeavor. >> laura: as long as this gloomy, angry, pessimistic, divisive figure is became for the administration, the biden team is doomed for the ugliest crash and burn since 1994 in these midterms. he is the equivalent of cottage cheese at the back of the refrigerator, you know, but you forgot about it. it is long past its expiration date. it is important to know when to say goodbye gracefully. brady is 37 years younger than anthony fauci. but at his age, he seems to have more patients got more perspective, and more clarity about life. imagine if brady was saying that he wanted to hang onto prove his doubters wrong, which is what fauci seems to be telegraphing in some of his public statements. at this point, fauci knows that half the country has tuned him out. but he wants to hang on just to annoy us for a little while longer. how arrogant is that and how sad it is. sync with his current crop of old folkies running the democratic party. they are almost staying on for despite of it at this point. >> i do know why people are saying, you need to step aside for me. no. if you want my seeds, come get it. >> laura: 81 years young. nothing positive to show for the past 13 months. only the wreckage they have left behind by. but they are still hanging on. obviously, being a senior citizen does not disqualify and one from making huge positive contributions. remember, benjamin franklin was at the constitutional convention at age 81, same age as clyburn. reagan left office days before he turned 78. they are both powering figures. many more examples as well. but age is supposed to bring us maturity and wisdom. not vindictiveness and stupidity. both traits of today's democrat elders. >> they are not on the weeks a present that vote, they are nullifying elections. sink out well, what does not matter who gets more votes? >> laura: i still don't know what she means by that. but back to brady, whatever he decides that he is going to remain respected and beloved as the greatest quarterback of all time, a beautiful example of an inspirational team leader. and you can hear this in his voice. he loves his teammates and he wants them to do well. that is a great leader. he took tampa bay from near bottom of the barrel to super bowl champs? he is headed for that hall of fame, obviously. but as for anthony fauci, joe biden, nancy pelosi, chuck schumer, they will think they deserve to be in the local equivalent of the hall of fame, but after they leave or they finally retired they will be rightly forgotten. future liberal historians are not going to look back on 2021 as a great you can for their worldview. so they will have to basically trying to write them out of the history books altogether. how much do you hear about the glory of the carter years these days? and that is the angle. joining me now, the host of the podcast and kid nichols, political analyst and senior lecturer at the university of maryland and gentleman to breaking late today, they knew what we were doing the angle on, on announcing from speaker pelosi, trying to discount all of those rumors they have been hearing kept saying she will seek reelection and seems to reverse that earlier about to turn over her party leadership. jason, as a democrat, is there really no one else at this point? there's no youngblood? it is just hold on regardless of what the results have been? >> jason: well, i think what jim clyburn was said was correct. if you wanted to come get it and get the votes. that is the wake our system works, unless you bring in term limits, totally be open to the conversation and i'm glad that you want to get rid of rogers or don young fort smith or mitch mcconnell the first three unnamed have 130 years in congress combined. rogers has been since 1973, five years before i was one. so i think, you know, just be had about bringing in term limits. but if you want those seats, come get it. biden got the votes. >> laura: there's no exit. so jason, i get you. that is a whole separate debate. what we are talking about, and you can chime in on this having the maturity to know that what you did is not working, from the cities to the crime to border, to the economy, it is not working and i bet some of those republicans should retire. you are right, jason. but these are the guys in charge now. with pelosi digging in. you put reaction to all of this tonight? >> well, my reaction is, yes, i agree, that disk can be a bipartisan phenomenon. but what you are really dealing with here are people who came as young alligators to swamp. the real difference between brady and fauci is that difference between the athletic field and a swamp. if you show up as a young alligator in the swamp, you see all of these goodies in the swamp. you go for them, but bigger alligators both muscle you out. realize, wow, i really don't know how to operate into a swamp. it is going to take me many years until i figure out all of the various swamp arts that i need to fully capitalize on this position to in. and so these guys learn the art of stepping people in the back. it takes a full career to perfect his arts and i think at the times that these guys are doing well and cashing in and by cashing in, i don't just mean money. i mean money and power and ego and all of the benefits of the swamp. they become reluctant to leave. it is like i invested my whole career getting to the disappointment. why would i want to turn over the keys now? >> laura: when they are holding plans for you at reagan national airport, which rumor was they used to do. that is a pretty good deal, just that aspect of it. jason, biden's team, we learned, has completely reshaped his schedule and his movements around covid. the fear that biden catching covid has pocket the white house to that limit its travel and interactions with voters. that logistical challenges grow tremendously when he stays somewhere up overnight as they try to keep him in a covid safe bubble in a new environment. so jason, how can he expect to effectively govern the country if he is doing the kind of hologram presidency as he did the hologram campaign. he said he was going to be with the people. that is what he promised last week at his big press conference. >> jason: well, i hope that he actually speaks to the american people. that is what it is going to take to win or to avoid the catastrophe that you talked about for democrats in the midterm. he has to get out. but keeping him safe from covid test to keep him from doing the labored breathing that we saw president trump doing when he caught covid. when he was hospitalized, and wasn't able to. >> laura: wait a second. the vaccine works. right? why are we saying that he is boosted? his whole thing is get vaxxed and boosted. he has done what you spoke to do. so why does he have to hide? that is michael point about it. >> jason: absolutely, that is true. absolutely. that seems to keep you out of the hospital for 90% of the people and 90% of the time. going back to the age factor, the fact that he is in his late 70s why take a chance? you know? why go out there and take unnecessary risks when you can keep healthy and keep safe but so i believe that, of course, he will -- >> laura: he is president! i don't mean -- i'm not trying to jump on a new. you could say this about republicans, too. he or she at any age is president of the united states. they have to be out and about with the people. they can't for foreign policy, you don't want a guy who is like, oh, my god, i'm going to be in a covid bubble. that is the point. is it not. >> dinesh: i think the problem with biden is a lot deeper. the problem with biden's he sold the american people, on a completely different person, then he actually did. he sold the american people aren't unity. he is a divider. keep sold himself on the fact that he is this gentle guide that is open to reason and argument. he is a bitter, cranky, and precious old man. the more he shows himself to the american people get the more they think about this is not really what i signed up for. i'm getting major buyer's remorse right about now. >> laura: jason, just finally, if you could give nancy pelosi advised that what you tell her to penn state with it until her 82nd birthday or keep going? what age is she? yeah, she is 81 now. so 82? keep it going? >> jason: i think she has been winning so much. she does not necessarily need my advice. >> laura: what? what is cheap winning? >> jason: i -- >> laura: what is she winning? >> jason: i would give democrats some advice start looking at grooming successors to some of these people who are going to be out of the way sooner or later. >> laura: okay. we have made progress. gentlemen, great to see you both tonight. thank you. and back to fauci. his apocalyptic pronouncements seem to soueid not just the public but among some of his cronies as well. first came the cdc big admission that after immunity was stronger at the anti-vaccine and they were forced to admit that cloth masks work with this. we told you that almost two years ago. and almost of the most strident supporters of these mandates are begin to see the light. >> we are dealing with a less verlander strain. the expectations will get resettled a little bit. we need to look at the things that might not necessarily be contributing that most to reduce further spread in society. >> laura: joining me now is dr. peter mccullough based in dallas, texas, first of all, you are awesome at the rally over the weekend, i watched all of the video and was not able to be there. that was such an impressive show of support and clarity and it was a diverse crowd. it was awesome. i want to say that first and foremost. do you sense a shift in some of the thinking of the medical talking heads? >> dr. mccullough: it is clear and i think they are listening to senator ron johnson who understands pandemic response better than anybody. he held a five hour senate panel yesterday titled "a second opinion." over dozens of physicians, clinical investigators, scientists, nurses, patients, and they made it clear that america has always -- always needed early treatment for covid-19. and that the science is settled. that the vaccines are not of next week sufficiently effective and they are not safe enough to mandate. >> laura: well, biden's surgeon general now believes the key to ending the pandemic apparently is censorship. watch. >> it is not just about what government can do. the only way we get past this information is if we use the. that we have to limit the spread of misinformation. that will be a critical part of getting through this pandemic. >> laura: dr. mccullough, you notice and i know this. they know this all too well. they have been censoring anyone who questions their narrative, including treating physicians who saw success with certain therapeutics. >> dr. mccullough: i asked that question yesterday. on the senate record now, who is actually -- has been the recipient of the censorship or reprisal, 80% of people in that room rate their hand, doctors, scientists, nurses, patients, believe me, censorship is incredibly divisive in the united states today, in the scientific community. the high-quality doctors always cite that sentiment. those who claim misinformation never have any backup. of the problem is those who are hunting misinformation are the spreaders of misinformation. >> laura: there are a lot of folks that are talk to, some off-line because they are afraid of losing their privileges at various hospitals. they say that they are very worried now about this talk of omicron design booster, a special booster just for omicron, they are buried about the antibody -dependent enhancement and other issues that may come down the road. how concerned are you about this because it is gaining steam. >> dr. mccullough: on the back end of omicron, uncube, showed a few weeks ago, i predicted that this was going to be a rapid, you know, et al. narrow outbreak. the world health organization has already put out a warning that future boosters can we connect the immune system and by the temp the vaccine for omicron could be ready, it definitely needs to be tested, that variant is basically going to be extinct and we could be onto new brian torras hopefully at the end of the pandemic. it was clear that we made it clear that the emergency phase of the epidemic is closed now. we should move onto just treating the occasional high-risk patient and then moving on with normal life. >> laura: dr. mccullough, thank you. great to see you tonight. and why did the biden administration revoke the news, speaking of this entire covid issue, of the emergency use authorization? florida has benefited greatly from the treatments and governor ron desantis thinks there's something more to this move. he is here next. he will penn stater. >> laura: the biden administration just escalated its war against life-saving covid therapeutic. today, the fda revoked its emergency use authorization of monoclonal antibody treatments claiming that they are highly unlikely to be effective against omicron variance. well, first of all, how do we know there's zero delta in the entire population of covid patients? the fda wanted to be consistent they should, then i guess be questioning the use of vaccines against omicron. they, too, are dramatically less effective against the new variant. of course, you know, the impact of this has been immediate and devastating. florida has been forced to shut down. >> sites across the state, denying access to the thousands and thousands of patients. that has understandably upset floridians and florida governor ron desantis who joins me now. governor kemp welcome to the show. your reaction to this decision and a proclamation by anthony fauci that is 100% omicron now. so no more monoclonal.
