>> there are moments we all put masks back on as quickly as we should. >> the white house trying to deflect the backlash as democrats give themselves a free pass while the rest of us cover up. "fox and friends first" starts right now. >> you are watching "fox and friends first" on tuesday morning. carley: let's get straight into. exclusive new report from the new york post claims the biden administration flying numerous charter flights of migrant children from texas to new york under the cover of night. >> griff jenkins joins us with questions this raises about white house resettlement policies. >> raises a lot of questions. it appears midnight runs for migrant children under the cover of darkness is part of the solution to the border crisis. let's look again at the cover of the new york post. there were two charter flights arriving westchester county were carrying children and teens, a few people in their twenties on planes that originated in texas, all part of the president's plan to quietly resettle unaccompanied minors illegally crossing the southern border in record numbers. a spokesman for h h s acknowledge the flights a statement saying this will make in recent weeks unaccompanied children passion to westchester airport to be unified with their parents, the post reports some flights dropping off migrant children before continuing to new york. that infuriated florida governor ron desantis who spokeswoman said this in a statement, quote, of the biden administration is so confident their open border policy is good for our country why the secrecy? expect that in a senate hearing today when chris magnus, the nominee to head customs and border protection takes the hot seat. magnus issued a number of statements in op-eds that will draw scrutiny in 2017. here that i'm deeply troubled by the trump administration's campaign against into a series. will recently in a 29 op-ed saying injuring public safety for all in our community including immigrants of any status is my highest priority is chief, that will be interesting, this comes after senate democrats released a series of funding bills which cut border security funding including any future border wall construction and reducing detention capacity for ice. jillian: griff was mentioning secret flights, unaccompanied migrant kids, surge, and detailing what is going on, they say 21 flights from texas to westchester since august 8th. many of these flights carrying children. they call them secret flights because they are landing between midnight and 6:30 in the morning and before they get to new york, sometimes these flights make a pit stop in florida and governor ron desantis responded the biden administration is so confident their open border policy is good for our country, why the secrecy? todd: miranda divine who did research on this exposé has more details on what is going on. >> a tipoff, flying into westchester county airport in the dead of night, last week we had a look and we did see two planes fly in with 100 migrants get off the plane most of them were unaccompanied children. we were told by the government they were all unaccompanied children but several of them did look to us to emails in their 20s, late teens and they were put on to charter buses, police escort out of the airport and dispersed around various places in new york, long island, new jersey. >> this is described by westchester county executive who stated the following, the biden administration is systematically spreading the southern border crisis to communities all around this country often shrouded in secrecy and under the cloak of darkness. if you're going to take one thing away from this ordeal, if they are so proud of what they are doing at the border, why be so shady about it? carley: you could certainly fly these planes at any other time but from midnight to 6:30 a.m. is pretty suspicious. the recent numbers on how many children crossed the border 37,805 have entered the border illegally in july and august and you feel sympathy for these kids and want them to be safe and cared for but you also know that every single child that enters the country is a payment to the mexican drug cartels and think of the biden administration doing everything in their power to promote illegal immigration from the president's build back better program with free community college for illegal immigrants, alejandro mayorkas telling ice not to deport illegal immigrants if they are just here illegally so you know the number is only going to get higher. todd: it is not just little boys little girls coming, sometimes it is 20 plus-year-old men. we have talked at nauseum on this show how the border crisis impacts every community when it comes to drugs brought in but biden is making sure it does include migrants coming into every community throughout our country and the fact is the biden administration knows that settling migrants in these communities is a very unpopular thing but they are doing it in secret so they get the constant stream of voters under the radar. you heard people talking about this at the end of the day and incentivizes people to risk their lives to come here. >> the white house says the responsibility to care for these unaccompanied children, but ask the question why are they here in the first place, such a dangerous journey and do we as american citizens our tax dollars should they be going towards this problem the biden administration created. todd: a lot of questions the biden administration probably won't answer. sounding the alarm after nuclear capabilities, financial times reporting the august launch caught american intel off guard. the biden administration says it is monitoring all of china's movements. >> we are concerned about the military capabilities they continue to pursue. we welcome competition but we do not want that competition to go to conflict. >> chinese officials denied the launch saying they were merely testing new spacecraft. >> senator lindsey graham explaining why this is such a serious issue for the united states. >> people are listening to this program, if the chinese have developed a hypersonic missile that can deliver nuclear weapons it is a military game changer when it comes to nuclear forces. we have allowed the chinese to leapfrog us and we have to do one of 2 things, get them to stand down, i don't know how president biden convinces anybody to stand down. if they don't stand down we will develop the capability to neutralize this. when you have president biden's greatest hit list, broken board, rise of terrorism, rampant inflation you cannot put on the list nuclear arms race with china which we are losing, weakness breeds aggression. >> next hour congressman mike gallagher will join us to discuss a major escalation in tension between beijing and washington. >> biden administration at last moves in afghanistan under investigation by the state department inspector general. series of investigations will look at special immigrant visa program, refugee processing, immigrant resettlement and evacuation of americans from kabul. today the biden administration's top envoy to afghanistan stepping down from his post after the collapse of negotiations with the taliban and. >> fbi agents on the ground in haiti working to rescue 17 kidnapped missionaries mostly americans. the white house confirming it is trying to help a group of christians. listen. >> the president has been briefed and is receiving regular updates on what the state department and fbi are doing to bring these individuals home safely. >> the 5 men, 7 women and 5 children were abducted at gunpoint by a local gang after visiting an orphanage. a haitian official telling the wall street journal the gang is asking for $1 million each for their release. people across the country rising up against covid vaccine mandates and for some it means losing their jobs and livelihoods. todd: parents, police and even the famous and successful football coach push back against the mandates. >> reporter: mass protests erecting across california to demonstrate against vaccine mandates for students with many parents keeping the kids home to fight against governor newsom's order requiring kids 5 to 18 to get vaccinated once approved. >> we need time. >> there are knows betty's, we should wait a couple years to be able to see what is going to happen in the long run. >> vaccine mandates also waiting law enforcement in several big cities. in chicago mayor a lightfoot lashing out at police unions for trying to do is what she calls and insurrection as offices risk with their retirement if they don't comply. >> all i can tell he was of our officers hold the line there will be less officers on the street, they also below with no pay. >> in seattle officers displaying don't tread on me flags over their patrol cars and protest the vaccine mandate deadline, prompting a state trooper to issue a tearful goodbye. >> to take a moral stand for freedom and personal choice. i will be signing out of service for the last 90 days after 17 years of serving the state of washington, my honor and privilege to work alongside all of you. >> reporter: washington state firing football head coach after failing to meet the mandate. the other -- four assistant coaches fight. this is a disheartening day for our football program, our priority has been and will be the health and well-being of the young men on our team. the leadership on our football team is young men of character, selflessness and resiliency and we are confident the same attributes will guide the program as we move forward. he said he supported any members of staff who decided to get vaccinated. he said he would comply with the mandate but later applied for religious exemption. todd: president biden will meet with democrats to move forward his spending agenda as senators bernie sanders and joe man so which and emerge hopeful from negotiation last night. >> you will have a resolution by the end of the week? >> we are talking. todd: they were talking and sort of hugging, more pat on the back but very close personal contact, sanders supports the currently$.5 trillion social spending package but manchen opposes the price tag citing several climate change provisions as nonstarters. >> look at the white house as president
