brian: all but a done deal. no question that's his next target. steve: thank you for joining us on easter monday. 6:02 in the east. top story for the last number of weeks has been our crisis at the southern border. and through various ways we have been able to get images of what is going on regarding the children and the families. and there is reason they didn't want us to see them because the situation down there is dire. but, now when you take a look at the ice deportations and people who are being turned around, keep in mind, remember we told you that a couple of months ago the biden administration announced 100 day moratorium on deportations. then, if ice is going to send somebody out of the country, unless they were a national security risk, they would have to actually, ainsley and brian, contact the front office in washington, d.c. and get an approval in writing to send somebody back. and they didn't for the most part. ainsley: it too much paperwork. by the time they finally get the paperwork and all the police reports, usually those people that they have apprehended are already let go into the united states. we are talking about people with some have criminal records. i was watching "fox & friends first" this morning and there was a thread was interviewed down in texas and she said i used to watch people come through my yard these illegal immigrants come through my yard in the morning when it was still dark outside. now we are seeing morning, noon, and night. they showed some compelling video we should get it an show it on our show of she's illegal immigrants going under her fence, cutting a hole in her fence. some of them jumping into her backyard it looked like. brian: you mean the fence we paid for that's not being rebuilt? ainsley: looks like her backyard fence. brian: unbelievable. look at these numbers to steve's point on ice deportations. under trump november of 020 almost 6,000, december of 2020 almost 6,000. under biden, 5583. in february it drops to half that. keep in mind, too. looking at a march that's estimated that we have actually seen 171,000 migrants taken into custody along the border in march. and then you have 18,700 unaccompanied minors that number could be even greater. nearly double the 9450 minors from the month before. we have nowhere to put them. san diego facility, the convention center already maxed out. it could be maxed out some time today. and it's all because they said if you are an unaccompanied minor, can you stay. that's a go sign from the triangle countries and mexico this is your time to come to america. when the facts of this story come out, it's going to be horrific. they are going to make sure it doesn't hit democrats by the time you hear about this horrific. barrasso and 1 other senators are not waiting for that they went and toured the facilities. they found a way to get on the inside and whether they got in there, they took some pictures and then this happened. >> well, we were told to delete the pictures, no one did. you have seen the video coming out of all of these kids crammed together under the foil blankets, huddling together and when you have 10% of them who are positive already, only allowed to be there for three days by law, you wouldn't want your own kids to be there for three minutes, but many are staying there for up to 10 tase. they are being tested the day that they leave and then those that have been tested positive are just kind of moved to one side of the courtroom. they have all been exposed and sent all across the country. that is the real tragedy of this. they are carrying it all around america. they are not being quarantined. every one of them ought to be quarantined. ainsley: that is interesting. he said they are testing them as they are leaving and they separate them. they have already all been exposed at that point. and as you know, this virus doesn't really pop up. you don't show symptoms on 3 to 5 days afterwards on average. can woe pop the numbers up brian was. last month december of 2020 will look how many deportations 5735. now, look at the first full month under joe biden which was february of 2021, only 2500 or 2600 were deported at that point. so, more than double under trump in his last full month. and that's back in february when we look at the biden numbers. it's only getting worse because they are getting that message as you all were saying come on over, we will let you, in and once you step foot on american soil you basically can stay. steve: sure, brian and ainsley, to ainsley's earlier point about the coronavirus out of pa was so barrassowhat is interesting abot is the fact that they do not test the people coming into the government facilities, they only test them when they leave the government facilities if they are going to another government facility. so they know which side of the auditorium to put the people in. which, when you look at the numbers, it clearly has become a super spreader event down at those particular detention centers. the thing about the hypocrisy regarding what's going on right now, is remember all the people a couple of years ago who were talking about the same facilities, with the chain linked enclosures they were referring to trump's concentration camps. now those people are oddly quiet. but it is much worse now because it is all happening during a pandemic. if the number one goal of this administration truly is to stop the flow of coronavirus, and to stop the spread, and to get us back to good health, this is a lousy way to do it by letting as john barrasso just said these people who are infected just scatter throughout the country. ainsley: he also said, senator barrasso went on to say it's ironic. so much irony here that president biden want vaccine ids yet not looking for ids for illegals coming over. the testing is not what is he requiring all of us to do pipe brian they put out law to tighten up voter restrictions after the pandemic. it's been totally misconstrued and now finally the lawmakers, including governor kemp are coming out and trying to straighten it out. it is being totally misconstrued and lied about by beginning and not ending with the president of the united states. when he said it was jim crow on steroids, really, dating back to 1877 when lawmakers implemented a poll tax requiring would be voters to pay a fee? they're talking about a thing where you actually made people take a literacy test before voting. you are talking about a vote -- a sb 202 that all they do is say you have 17 days of early voting. when it comes to voting locations, it doesn't end at 5:00 it. closes at 7:00. got to be open at least 7 hours. only thing they are saying that's different you can have no excuse absentee balloting. write down tax i.d., take a picture of your license. get a free i.d. from the state. can you send a utility bill in just so we know who you vote for, who you are voting for and you are actually belong and are qualified as a voter in georgia? absolutely. and so do a number of other states. but, nonetheless, brian, you are absolutely right. there has been a lot of political propaganda. one thing that this movement has done down in georgia is the democrats have united a fractured republican party. brian: they have. steve: now the republicans are all together saying hey, wait a minute, that is not true. ainsley: good point. steve: the independents down in georgia are going, wait a minute, they're actually making it easier to vote so what is the big stink about all of this stuff? brian: read it. they should have read it. >> steve: well, listen, brian kemp, the governor down there, you know, for a while, it looked like he was going to face a primary challenge. that probably now is unlikely. because now president trump, who had said that brian kemp has got to go, president trump sounds like he is on his side. the president, former president has called for a boycott of major league baseball and has warned coca cola and delta both based down in georgia that they could be mexico. ainsley: some of these legislators are say nothing more coke products in our offices. joe biden and his administration looked at all the new laws in georgia and though thought holy cow, we are going to lose votes. democrat -- now everyone is going to have to show an i.d. we are not going. brian: cheat? ainsley: slip through the cracks and cheat. when you have a mail-in ballot now you have to prove with your bill or license or i.d. who you are and so i think they said, well, let's find some things that we can make a problem so that we can protest this and we can make a big deal out of it. and that's when joe biden says, you know what? this says poll could say close at 5:00, the governor said that's not going to happen. polls have the right to stay open until 7:00. they're even adding saturday voting as well. get more opportunities to vote in the state of georgia. steve: that's why the president got four pin smoke gross. ainsley: president says they will close at 5:00 and you won't be able to get further at 5:00. like anyone cares about that. that's what they're sticking. to say he did get four pinocchios and chris christie said is he lying. >> joe biden has broken his own rule and now is he lying to the american people. is he lying about this bill. is he lying to the american people about it to cause the raging fire he said he was going to put out. i'm very disappointed. brian: he went on to say about the water thing. you can have refreshments there. you just cannot do will election eeringing you don't want to walk up and give water with a trump shirt on. i wonder why he keeps saying the president over and over again a lifetime achievement why jen psaki keeps saying a lie over and over again. do you know what it does? this is unbelievable. by the way, what about the wisdom of putting out a book in the first year of your dad's presidency bringing all this up again? meanwhile, his brother is doing some crazy stuff out in florida with another law firm. does anyone in that family have any sense that they have a relative in the white house that this could damage? >> we need to highlight what a preposterous situation we are in now in california. we were among the first states close our schools because of covid risks and at that point in time a year ago martha made sense. we thought that schools would be super spreaders. we have known for months that schools are safe places and we have opened our economy as covid rates are declined precipitously in california, which is great. we have never had a mandate to reopen our schools. so as our economy is opened, as amusement parks and movies and restaurants are all open now, our schools remain closed. there is no requirement in california that the schools reopen. ainsley: the governor has said back in october his kids go private school so they are back in class. is he caught at french laundry. why do you think that he wants to open certain things but close our schools? why are amusement parks more important than our schools? >> well, i think he would like schools to open. it's just that he is not willing to expend the political capital to mandate that they open. he has given cash incentives to get schools to open. he put teachers in the front of the line for vaccinations. but that wasn't good enough. there are new demands by the teachers' unions, long standing labor grievances for subsidized child care and housing subsidies and shorter work days which are potentially all valid labor complaints but they shouldn't be made on the backs of our children. and what we need to do, since the unions have basically refused to open k through 12 schools is to mandate that they reopen. we only have 8 weeks left in this school year. ainsley: does it all go back to money? they're going to make money from taxes on these amusement parks and movie theaters and things that are open. they are not going to make money on the schools. so why do they want to appease these unions? what about the year after? is it jobs going to multiply exponentially that are just going to disappear. >> they will unless we do something about it. that's what we are doing in texas. going to visit with small business owners felt the pain of what it means to let go of workers. >> we have lost 40 to 50,000 jobs here locally in midland midland and odessa. brian: what were you thinking when you saw president biden open up those books and sign the executive orders? >> significantly the fact of thinking about all of the assets that i had operating in new mexico and having the conversation of you guys are going to have to move to west texas or you will have to find something else to do. brian: immediately that book owns. his he signs his signature and they were out of a job. >> significant like that. brian: do you think they understand these are people with jobs? >> they don't. >> i got laid off the first of august, was without work for four and a half month. i was slated to go up to the keystone. brian: set to go to the keystone. >> hoping everything was going to pick up with covid eased off slammed again. brian: how? whnchts mr. biden came in and knocked out 11,000 jobs in the first days in office. the ramifications of that still being felt in the industry. easy to say go find another job. when you are the head of the household and other job you are going to do is going to pay you half as much as what you are used to, that's not you quite as easy as it sounds. brian: your message is let me work. >> let us do our job. brian: now i'm going to get a chance to see what it's like working on a rig? >> absolutely. this is going to be the best training facility you will find. brian: should we go in. >> this is a pumping unit. >> what are we looking for oil, gas? >> oh, yeah. you will be having oil and gas mixed together coming out of this segment. natural gas coming out of this one. they co-mingle into a flow line and go to production facilities. brian: wow. >> this is just a tiny fraction of what all goes into your typical oil. >> staggered to find out you need workers. >> absolutely we need workers. brian: what happened? >> when it slows down and people get frustrated and leave the industry they say they are never coming back and they don't. brian: you say they are great paying jobs. >> pays over $125,000 a year. >> you do make money. >> oh, yeah. brian: absolutely. >> you have had this job for a while. when you got hit with that freeze, did you sense there were people on the left that were almost happy about it? >> absolutely. they laughed at the misfortune of a red state. the reality is that what it messaged to people in our state is that we need to produce more energy. brian: you also have a border issue on top of that. >> communities on our border that are dealing with incredible influx of not only unaccompanied children but illegal immigrant that are coming across. we are tired of the federal government not stepping up to the plate. and accepting their responsibility in this effort. brian: matthew mcconaughey wants to run for governor, thinking about it wanting to get in politics. what advice would you continue to give him. >> maybe he needs to continue to think about it. brian: what do you say about your party fractured. >> nothing more unifying in politics is joe biden and kamala harris. after a few years of left wing progressive ideas americans are going to say that is enough. brian: does that make you want to seek another position. >> i have been privileged to serve as land commissioner we need to do leadership in this high stake executive role. brian: you are hoping to run for. >> taking a serious look at attorney general. brian: when would you make that decision. >> right now we are so focused on fixing the winter grid. pushing back the overreach, working during this legislative session but expect an announcement fairly soon. ♪ ainsley: good job, brian. steve: very good. brian: didn't have a lot of work i could be doing on the oil rig. that's somebody that you have to be trained even to go on those rigs. for the most part you had a situation where there is a lot of panic in the area. as i brought up in the 5:00 show they are not anti-green in texas. do you know that their number two in solar energy, second tonal california. they will pass them this year. do you know by far they are number one in wind provides 20% of the energy in texas. and do you know that they are the next three in order of wind technology. the next three states combine them all together they still don't add up to what texas has done. they are doing things responsibly. here is also what is insidious. there is now pressure from the green community to stop banks from lending to any type of oil companies for any type of exploration. you need money and financing. but now banks are being pressured not to finance. how is that american? they are right because corporate ceos have proven to be cowards and largely bent at the will, bent at the fear and threat of these types of activists. steve: but, ultimately, will, when corporations get involved in politics, with the polarized country, you are going to hack off half the country. i don't think that's good for the company. >> yeah, they are not being motivated by the bottom line. they are afraid. they are motivated by fear and losing corporate sponsors and being afraid of being called a racist. it's the magic word in our society right now that forces anyone to bend to your will. anyone that looks at the georgia bill actually reads it or any of these provisions across the country knows it is not racist, it does not restrict voting access, it is not voter suppression. it is voter expansion. that's the truth. someone ought to tell the truth. steve: no kidding. it's actually easier to vote in georgia than it is in the state i live n new mexico -- new mexico. ainsley: raising the corporate tax 21% under president trump up to 28% under biden. what's interesting is that first bill, the covid relief bill only 9% went to covid relief. this one we are reading anywhere between 5 and 25% will actually go to infrastructure to your point. brian: right. 589 billion for workforce development. 400 billion for home and community based care for elderly and disabled. yeah, it's an important thing, how is that infrastructure? 650 billion for broad band i think that should be. then they have green energy and water upgrades and they have retrofitting homes and buildings. to, what, make the windows smaller, make them green friendly. steve: that's the green new deal, brian. brian: joe biden was the moderate that can get elected nobody with those severe left wing views would have gotten elected. but, if you pretend to be moderate and go ahead and implement those left whipping programs there is nothing can you do. one of those things that land commissioner with george p. bush here what he is said what he saw in that bill and how it effect the states. >> a lot of people didn't like president trump's attitude. they didn't like some of his tweets. and they probably liked his policies. but now you are seeing 60 days, 90 days, 120 days in the different america they have and the difference in policies. do you think they are realizing how good they had it. >> absolutely. i think america is waking up saying we didn't sign up for this. this is not part of the package that biden promised. what you see in terms of the stimulus plan very small percentage devoted to actual cody relief. now we are looking at this infrastructure bill our estimate shows only 7% devoted to roads and highways and actual infrastructure. 400 billion for home care and community care. give me a break. this is false advertising. i think the american people are waking up to it. steve: well, roy blunt, who is a republican senator from the great state of missouri, he said yesterday, that republicans could get on board with an infrastructure bill if it was closer to $615 billion. brian: absolutely. steve: then you could have buy in from the republicans if the white house would promise that they would pay for it another way other than, to your point, ainsley, than raising the corporate taxes up to close to 30%. put republican plan right now at this point is to, if they're going to go through with this $2.2 trillion bill to sit on the sidelines so that the democrats are saddled with those tax rate increases and a government spending spree like we have never seen. ainsley: it's so expensive. remember they were up in arms when president trump wanted to spend i think it was 200, 300 billion. enough to they want to spend trillions of dollars on this. brian, that was a great interview. tell the folks at home what you were telling us during the commercial break about how the different states, federal land what's. brian: oh, just real quick on oil and gas and will have a little bit later just so you know if you are a texas company can you invest in other states. so what they did is a lot of people in west texas, they go in place like new mexico and when you say there is no more federal drilling and exploration wyoming and new mexico are full of federal land, 35% even more in wyoming. it isn't just a minor pause. you basically have stopped the industry. do you know who high fives? russia and opec. i never thought that was in america's best interest. but that's for a little bit later in the show. steve: and more with the land commissioner coming up at 8:25 i do believe. ainsley: said probably going to run for a.g. more to come. brian: no question. steve: meanwhile, let's talk about it looks as if there is a glimmer of light out in california. the teachers are apparently ready to return to work but, and it's a big but. they say we still need some sort of free healthcare. ainsley: child care. steve: child care. thank you very much. in san diego, in san jose and sacramento, they have approved bringing the teacher's children into the classroom. in los angeles what they're saying we will go to the classroom but first we have got to stay at home until we are given the money to pay for child care. so you have got to subsidize our child care, which they say was a big problem even before and a lot of parents are going, wait a minute i work at a grocery store i'm a frontline worker or i'm in healthcare and nobody made those kind of deals for me. they see that it is completely uneven. ainsley: this is mya daniels, she is a los angeles i couldn't know find teacher and she has this online petition calling on the school board to offer support. she want them to pay for the child care. yes, we know healthcare and essential workers have faced these challenges all year; however, a competition to the bottom is not in any of our best interest. we do not want anything, we don't believe everyone is entitled to employer support for children and families. so, first they wanted to be able to bring their children to work. and the union said and the businesses said yes, you can do that bring your kids to work. they can zoom or they can do their online classes from the office. that's fine since you don't have child care at home. and now they are saying and taking it a stepping further and saying we want our child care paid for. if you ask parents there, they are saying oh my gosh, we were so close to reopening and now there is something else that they are requesting. steve: there is always something else. ainsley: always another hurdle. the parents are giving up and saying we don't even know if this is ever going to happen. brian: by the way it's already april. usually school wraps up in june. i believe and you would know better, ainsley. don't they get paid or as much as every state in the union? think about south carolina? think about florida and how much they get in california. ainsley: if you are a union teacher you tend to make more. i don't know all of this. i know in my family my mom was a teacher for 33 years. my sister has been a teacher for 23 or 24 years. they are not unionized. so, they get paid a small salary but they do get health benefits and state benefits when they retire after x amount of years and that's wonderful. that's been helpful with my mom with what she has gone through with her healthcare. but, in new york, the teachers make, i want to say they make on an average maybe 30,000 in south carolina, depends on if you have your masters or board certified. up in new york i am hearing y'all would know better six figures, right, at least 100,000. steve: in some cases that certainly is the case in new jersey where i live. ainsley had a great interview with jeanne noble associate professor of emergency medicine out in california. and she put together it was a tweet? ainsley: she did. steve: showed what teenagers in oakland california and san francisco can and cannot do. so, ainsley, i will tell you what, you read what the teenager can do and i will do what they cannot do. ainsley: they can he'd in restaurants. >> they can't go to math class. >> they can watch novembers theater. steve: they can't go to english class. ainsley: they can go bowling inside. steve: they can't go to science class steve: so there is a lot you can do but there's a lot you can't. brian: yeah, california a mess. this governor something recalled on top of that. so, we will see where that. ainsley: plus his kids are in school. brian: right. his kids are in private school. all right. ainsley: we have a soundbite from that interview. steve: we do. brian: do you have it with you. ainsley: dr. jeanne noble. pick it up out of my bag. steve: i have the app. >> he is giving cash incentives to get schools to open. he put teachers in the front of the line for vaccinations. but that wasn't good enough there are new demands piatt teachers' europes, long-standing labor grievances for no subsidized child care and shorter workdays which are all potentially all valid labor complaints, but they shouldn't be made on the backs of our children, the california teacher's association has more than 300,000 members. they are -- make political contributions to gavin newsom. and kids are not voters. and kids do not make political contributions. so there is not the same political pressure to open our schools as there has been to open our businesses. steve: so for a while it was we are not going to go back to school until they change the ventilation. and then we are not going to go back to school until we get vaccinations and now it is we are not going to go back to school in some cases until we get subsidized child care. ainsley: when the unions give you millions of dollars to get rio elected you do what they say not what they are doing. brian: big checks to all these schools where is that money? should be until you open you don't get a dollar. that's not going to be the way it is. ainsley: guess who pays the price. brian: the kids. steve: the kids absolutely. texas rangers expecting a full house at today's home opener in texas. brian: do you think they will get it? >> chuck, the police chief, is doing the best that he can to keep morale up. when you have no support from, you know, the leadership in the city, what are you supposed to do? i think the community does support, i mean, when you look at all the polling, the community says they want good law enforcement. they want the bad apples gone, but when you have this movement that is getting the majority of the attention, it becomes a big problem. you know, so often when we cover these stories, and i have been to portland, i can't go recently because fox security says it's not safe for me to go. they know who i am at this point. you know, we look at these stories, we normally simmer in on one city. but this is happening all across the country. you have got seattle, you have got filly. you have got chicago, six people dead over the weekend. you know, 26, i think it was over 20 that was shot. it is an epidemic in these liberal cities and when you talk to them, they say oh, it's just because the pandemic. no, i have been reporting on these cities for two years and there has been a lack of leadership there. so, what do you do, brian? why is that, and what's your reaction? >> sometimes when people act like they don't care, it's not an act. i think president biden just doesn't care. i think he plans on admitting between two and 3 million illegal immigrants into our country this year. we had hints of that in his campaign. brian: future dreamers. >> true, but also, just letting people in illegally at the border. this is dangerous. the border patrol told me that at least people from 55 countries have already come in. steve: wow. >> people from all over the world are getting to mexico and flooding in. number two, it's very expensive. many of these folks will go on welfare, particularly if they can make it to a sanctuary city or a blue state. it puts downward pressure on wages, and it undermines illegal immigration which most americans support. now, in further evidence of what i just suggested, the president has put vice president harris in charge of trying to combat the illegal immigration. there's some confusion. she says she doesn't want it. the president says she's got to take it, but no disrespect to the vice president. i know her well and i respect her, but she believes in open borders. making her the illegal immigration czar as i said the other day is like making el chapo the drug czar. brian: right and by the way they are sending a special en view to the northern triangle areas of guatemala between aprid katie: tobin, the director for transborder security will be there as well as another guy named envoy sanuga, so they're going. why is it taking two months and why isn't the vice president going? evidently she was working the phones over the weekend. is that enough? >> well if all they do is take billions and billions of american taxpayer money and give it to the governments of the northern triangle countries, they might as well throw it in the dirt because that money is going to be stolen. it'll never make it to the people. now, if what the envoy is going to do is talk to the governments in the northern triangle countries and say look, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. we're going to setup processing centers in your country and allow people to apply for refugee status in your country, and adjudicate the claims there. they're not coming into the united states, and if you don't do that, then we're going to make you an offer you can't refuse. that's what trump did, but i don't think that's what they are going to do. i think they are just going to take billions of taxpayer money, and give it to the governments which are going to promptly steal it. steve: oh, man, you know, the biggest thing on your agenda for right now in the senate and the congress as well, senator, is the fact that it looks like this gigantic $2 trillion infrastructure bill is heading your way. the big question is will any republicans be on board? the $2 trillion trade, probably not but pete buttigieg, the secretary of transportation, listen to this , senator, he says the boss wants this done fast. >> know that this is entering a legislative process where we're going to be hearing from both sides of the aisle and i think you'll find the president has got a very open mind, but time is of the essence. so, we'll look at these ideas on how to pay for it. we'll look at ideas on where the investments ought to be too but the president is hoping for major progress from congress before memorial day, and we can't allow this thing to just keep dragging on, because the need is there today. steve: speaking of today, senator, today in the new york post on the op-ed page they talk about how the single biggest line item of money in that particular infrastructure bill, not for bridges or tunnels but it's for millions of healthcare jobs because there's strings attached to it. the white house memo of understanding says the money will be tied to healthcare workers getting the ability to collectively bargain. in other words, you want the money, you're going to have to join a union. >> well, let's go to lala land for a while. this is not an infrastructure bill. if you think this is an infrastructure bill you probably better stay away from sharp objects. this is a green new deal. brian: yup. >> welfare, and repirations bill. being charitable less than 10% of the bill is devoted to infrastructure, and we don't even know what the projects are. you know who picks the projects? speaker pelosi, senator schumer, and president biden. now one need not be clairvoyant to see that their projects are going to end up in new york and california and blue states, so there you have it. you've got a political slush fund, and you can say and maybe even believe that two plus two equals five, but just because you say it doesn't make it true. the correct answer is four. this is not an infrastructure bill. it's also outrageously expensive there is no free lunch. you don't get one now. they are going to pay for it through more debt, and higher taxes. ainsley: let's talk about what's happening -- >> now will they work with us? here to discuss this , publisher of the federalist and fox news contributor, ben domenech. >> good morning. ainsley: why would you think they were running those donation s? >> look i think in the last go- around in 2020 we really saw how much republicans were invest ed in trying to make the entire democratic party stand up beside the democrat socialist who become such a loud voice within their coalition, and this is not in anyway an in accurate frame. when you look at the policies being put in place, they frequently are, the donees that are being advocated for by aoc and by others who share a lot of her socialist- minded views, this is something though they've been able to separate in part because of the reputation of someone like joe biden, as being someone who was not particularly socialist-minded. the problem is those socialists are now flush with cash, they are spreading it around because they want to try to hold on to the power that they have within a democratic majority, and i think that in this case in particular, what really surprised the number of these democrat members is that they didn't have a warning from the national party leadership that aoc was going to be giving them money, money that could really be used against them when they are renting for re-election in campaign ads that will probably run across the country, tying them to the radical policies that aoc favors. ainsley: why does she have so much power or why nancy pelosi, democratic leadership, why are they so fearful of upsetting her >> well, i think to a certain degree, there were so many moments in the past couple of years where you saw nancy pelosi asserting her leadership within the conference and then there be moments where the democrat socialists kind of get together and say do you feel in charge? and i think that that's something that we saw play out time and again when it came to a lot of different policy priorit ies. i think looking back, for instance at the censoring of ill am omar, and the whole way that played out that's a good example of the kind of power they we'll within this coalition and they do represent a very significant portion of the democrat base, a younger portion trying to pull the party much farther left on a host of different issues. ainsley: those progressive view, everything is free, guaranteed wages, healthcare free, retirement free, college, paying off student loans and pre-k. government-healthy food how can a country ever afford all of this?
