book. they called the fbi s search of mar-a-lago suspect. the trump lawyers showed the lawyers from the department of justice, because trump is no longer president he had no right to take those documents. they also defended their search as being completely lawful. now, one of trump s lawyers was saying they should have a special master to try to restore order and public trust and to lower the temperature in the nation to kind of take some of this heat off. now, the judge had asked questions of both sides and asked them what would a special master do at this point since the government had a filter team go through this, but she also said it is not entirely settled law that a former president can t claim privilege after leaving office. she kind of left it as an open question. she did previously say she was leaning toward appointing a special master. this was the first time we heard from both sides in court staking out their positions. we learned more information there were ....
