Click honors former Sandusky County legislator Wise with House resolution
Click presented a resolution detailing Wise’s lifetime of accomplishments.
Wise served the region of Sandusky County through multiple public official roles and was a legislator in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1982-1994.
He died in December at the age of 90.
Love for state made him an effective public servant
“I express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Dwight Wise. He left such a respectable impression on all those he met,” said Click in a news release. “He honorably served the several offices he held as he contributed to our surrounding communities. I believe his sincerity and love for our state is why he made such an effective public servant – I commend him on his respectable and fulfilling life as his legacy lives on within our state as we recognize him with this resolution.”

ROCHESTER, NY (WXXI) – Cornell University’s prison educational programs have been on hold during the pandemic, but a theater professor has found a way to keep connected with incarcerated people.
For decades, performing arts professor Bruce Levitt has used theater as a way to engage with people who are incarcerated.

“To see people discover themselves in front of you is very exciting,” said Levitt, who is also a facilitator for the Phoenix Players Theatre Group at Auburn Maximum Security Prison. “To help them on that journey, particularly people who have been reduced to a number and a crime find and rediscover their wholeness as human beings is a pretty exciting process.”

Update 3 p.m. :A truck driver has been killed in a crash on the New York state Thruway west of the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge in Seneca County that is causing massive traffic backups.
A box truck and a tractor trailer crashed at about 12:45 p.m. on the highway in the town of Tyre just east of Exit 41 (Waterloo), state police said.
