OTT regulation: A mirage in desert
The emerging 500 crores over the top market of more than 17 crore users would soon need to embrace the regulations and authority with its addition to Schedule 2, Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961 (amended 2020) under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. This move comes in response to the notice by CJI Sharad Arvind Bobde led-bench of Supreme Court in a PIL seeking regulation of such platforms, hence should also avoid the criticism of centre-led initiative to come down on free speech.

The national capital of India may be facing a
water shortage over the next three days.
The water shortage will not only impact the general population, but also hospitals, which are currently reeling from the surge in COVID-19 patients.
According to the Delhi Jal Board (DJB), Haryana is to blame for reducing the supply of water by 20% to 30% as well as making the water dirtier.
