Scooter’s Coffee, the Midwest startup that has been giving Starbucks a run for its money in Columbia and Jefferson City the past two years, is coming to Mexico.
The local franchise owners, Deena Parrish and Todd Lockhart, plan to build their new location at 2925 S. Clark St., across from the Commerce Bank on the north side of the new Homebank.
âThe owners have ties to the area, as Todd worked for A.P. Green and Dawn Foods for over 15 years,â said Josi Orsi, senior manager of brand execution, in an exclusive interview with the Leader. âAnd [they] are excited to become reacquainted with Mexico.â
Dutch Dawn Foods buys JABEX
Global bakery manufacturer and ingredients supplier Dawn Foods announced the acquisition of JABEX, a family-owned manufacturer specializing in high-quality fruit-based products for the bakery industry, headquartered in Bielsko-Biala, Poland.
