Autodesk to buy Toronto SaaS startup Upchain San Francisco-based software firm Autodesk has announced it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Toronto SaaS startup Upchain. The terms of the proposed deal were not disclosed. Upchain aims to help enterprise clients in the automotive and aerospace, industrial machines, transportation, entertainment, and textiles and apparel sectors build products on time and on budget through its cloud-based software. In 2018, Upchain raised $7.4 million in funding.
