In celebration of Pride Month, cult streetwear brand Champion has announced an Australia-and- New Zealand-first Pride range, Champions of Pride, and ongoing partnership with the Queer Sporting Alliance.
Teaming up with queer screen culture non-for-profit Sissy Studios, TABOO and PUSH, Champion Australia worked collaboratively on the ideation, campaign strategy and rollout, while the design was created by Champion Australia’s leading internal team.
Championing a cause, celebrating community, and aiming to create real change, the capsule collection proudly heroes the Pride colours in a selection of signature Champion tees, iconic reverse weave hoodies, bucket hats, caps and socks.

Following on from the successful launch of Hazy IPA in 2020, Coopers Brewery has released its 2021 Limited Edition brew, Australian IPA, in a continued effort to drive brand recruitment from a more progressive audience.
For the second year in a row, TABOO has been engaged to design the brewery’s latest NPD, this time drawing on the strength and beauty of the Australian outback landscape for inspiration.
Says Nick Jamieson, executive creative director of TABOO: “The Coopers limited-edition releases are fast becoming a highly anticipated moment in the Australian craft beer calendar. Once again it’s a huge privilege to continue our work building out a design construct across the family of Coopers NPD brews.”

The MADC, Australia’s oldest creative communications club, has been reinvigorated once more, with the announcement of new co-presidents Matt Lawson and Simon Thomas, a new MADC committee, and upcoming events organised to begin from mid-May.
Says co-president Matt Lawson, chief creative officer of Deloitte Digital: “The incredibly talented, and impossibly nice bunch of people that have agreed to join the MADC committee really is testament to the wonderful club that was rebuilt by outgoing president, Adrian Bosich, and the previous committee. They did such a great job of getting Melbourne together to inspire great work, while having some fun. And that’s a legacy we plan on continuing. Have the MADC be a place to inspire and conspire. Inspire great work through talks and showcases, and get people together to hatch plans to make more of it.”

The hero of the campaign is a digital directory that customises recommendations for consumers based on preferences of flavour, style and winery practices, to help drinkers discover new wineries.
