DETROIT – A 25-year-old man was found dead overnight after a shooting on
Detroit police said they received a report of shots fired in the area, and when they arrived, they found the man dead in the driver’s seat of a car.
Right now, they have no information on who is responsible for the shooting. Police are continuing to investigate.

He said shots were fired from a vehicle into a parked gray vehicle. A man in the gray vehicle was killed, and a woman inside the gray vehicle was shot multiple times, Chambers said.
“It appeared that the suspect vehicle, the male that was in that . began shooting at the vehicle, the gray vehicle, striking the male occupant, and also a female,” Chambers said.

DETROIT – A Detroit family is seeking answers in the murder of 69-year-old Robert Ellis in December 2015.
Ellis was found shot and burned to death inside a home on Archdale Street on the city’s west side.
Ellis’ family made a plea for anyone with information to come forward.
“Are we speaking up in concern about crime? The crime in our neighborhoods. It’s time we take our neighborhoods back. If you know something, speak up. If you know something step forward,” said his sister, Bishop Elle.

For her seven children, mother Gracie Jones was their entire world.
“To raise six boys and one girl. Made sure we all had some Christian background from a very young age,” her daughter Gracie Louise Jones said.
Gracie Jones, 74, was brutally killed in her own home in 1999.
“For someone to just sit and think about how to do something like this. It is this inhumane,” Gracie Louise Jones said.
The killer broke in through a back window on the second floor of Jones’ home on East Grand Boulevard.

DETROIT – Police are searching for a 19-year-old in connection to a triple shooting that left two people dead in Detroit.
According to the Detroit Police Department, authorities are searching for 19-year-old Carlos Anderson. The victims are a father and son, whose identities have not been released.
The shooting happened at about noon Monday on Fairview Street. Authorities said an argument occurred prior to the shooting.
Police are also searching for a gray or dark Chrysler Sebring with five people inside that took off in an unknown direction.
