Islamabad, February 01, 2021 (PPI-OT): Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Qazi Jamil ur Rehman called upon the traders of the federal capital to extend their full cooperation in the efforts of the police strengthening security in the capital city. He stated this at a meeting with delegations of business community led by President Islamabad Chambers of Commerce and Industry Sardar Yasir and discussed the overall security situation in the district.
The IGP Islamabad informed the traders’ community about the security steps taken by the police and assured that Islamabad Police would fully cooperate with the traders in the resolution of their problems relating to the security concerns.

Islamabad: The Islamabad Police has decided to start a Community Engagement Programme (Raabta) to enhance liaison with people from various walks of life and effectively resolve their issues after approaching them. Following the directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman, a comprehensive program has been chalked out to approach the public, understand their issues related to police and resolve them on an immediate basis. As per the plan, all police officials would conduct meetings with the general public, religious scholars, traders, minority members, administrators of Masajid while interactions would be made with students of educational institutions, seminaries, and members of Public Conciliatory Committees (PCCs). Islamabad : Inspector General of Police Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman has directed all police officers to visit ailing cops of their respective divisions and boost their morale during treatment period.
The IGP himself set example in this regard and visited the house of an injured Sub-Inspector Rafique and presented him flowers bouquet. He also expressed well wishes for him and prayed for his early recovery.
Following his directions, DIG (Security) Waqar Uddin Syed visited house of DSP (Security) Bashir Ahmed Niazi and inquired about his health. SSP (Security) Naveed Atif also accompanied DIG (Security) during this visit. They presented him flowers bouquet and prayed for his early recovery.
