Ampere Electric, the wholly owned electric mobility subsidiary of Greaves Cotton Private Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Tamil Nadu. The planned Ranipet manufacturing facility, with an area of 1.4 million square feet, will be on the largest state-of-the-art e-mobility manufacturing plants in the country. The Komaki SE offers a top speed of 85 kmph with a range between 95-125 km on a single charge. The power output from the motor has not been disclosed.
