State Police said the fatal crash happened just before 6 a.m.
Authorities said the victim was driving east on Route 90 when his car became disabled in the right lane.
The driver got out of his car, and stood along the highway, before he was hit by a tractor trailer driving in the right lane.
State police said the driver of the tractor trailer is a 67-year-old man from Linden, New Jersey.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Monday, State Police identified the victim as Mustapha Faddi, 57, of Marlborough.
Massachusetts State Police were assisted on scene by MassDOT, Framingham Fire and EMS, and the Medical Examiners Office. The right and middle lanes were closed for two hours while an investigation was conducted.

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) – The City of Newport issued a precautionary boil water advisory after a water main break on Wednesday.
A spokesperson for the city said the water main break happened around 11 a.m. at Gould and Warner Streets, which caused low pressure throughout the system.
The spokesperson advised those who are not sure if they’re in the water boil advisory area, to find out by clicking here.
As a precaution, residents are urged to boil their water before using it, or seek alternative water supplies.
“All water used for consumption should be boiled vigorously for at least one minute. This recommendation pertains to water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation. Alternatively, customers can use bottled water. Infants and young children should not be bathed in this water because they may swallow it accidentally. Anyone else using this water for bathing or showering should be careful to avoi

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) announced on Tuesday that nine routes are on detour due to inclement weather conditions.
Riders should expect detours on routes 18, 21, 27, 51, 55, 56, 62, 66 and 87.
“Riders may expect some delays on all routes due to weather conditions and are advised to use extreme caution at bus stops due to decreased visibility and slippery conditions,” RIPTA said in a release. “The safety of our employees and passengers is RIPTA’s top priority. RIPTA apologizes for the inconvenience and asks for the public’s understanding as we work hard to maintain service during this storm.”
