New Delhi, April 4 : Amid massive surge in coronavirus cases in the national capital, the hospitals are now witnessing increase in admissions of patients, with Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital administration asserting that more patients with severe infection are now getting admitted.
The capital city has recorded a nine-fold spike in coronavirus cases in the last three weeks. It recorded over 3,500 new cases in the last 24 hours, as opposed to 407 cases on March 15. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has admitted that the fourth wave of the pandemic is raging, but ruled out imposition of a lockdown.

New Delhi, March 4 : A massive wildfire at the Simlipal National Park in Odisha, which was raging for around a week, has been brought under control, with no loss of life or injury to wildlife, villagers or public property getting reported.
Simlipal is a national park and tiger reserve situated in Odisha s Mayurbhanj district. The 2,750 sq km area harbours unique melanistic tigers, rare and endemic orchids, 1,352 species of plants, 55 species of mammals, 361 species of birds, 62 species of reptiles and 21 species of amphibians.

New Delhi, Feb 21 : A couple belonging to Jammu and Kashmir with links to the Islamic State in Khorasan Province (ISKP), who was arrested for allegedly instigating protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act in 2020, has approached a Delhi Court seeking bail in the case, emphasizing that there is no evidence to substantiate their role.
Jahanzaib Sami and Hina Bashir Beigh were arrested on March 8 for allegedly conspiring to utilize the anti-CAA protests to instigate Muslims against the government by coining seditious slogans, inscribing graffiti at public places and highlighting the same on social and international media.
