We have Tropical Storm newton south of our state and its slowly tracking north and the outer bands are moving in producing the rain and thunderstorms. And even close to the valley this morning. The main system to the south is slowly tracking to the northeast and is set to move into southeast arizona as we through the day today. Now, we are under a Flash Flood Watch today all across the southeast pocket of our state. But i did want to update you on a change. The phoenix metro is no longer under the Flash Flood Watch. That watch includes the foothills and just to the southeast. The potential is still there for showers and storms in the phoenix metro.
