County announced its first confirmed cases of west nile, three at once including a 13 yearold boy in longmont. So why the sudden increase in cases . We see an uptick every year sometime in august and september. We can never predict exactly which week its going to happen, but we do know that once we see this uptick we understand up with more cases reported. The hayden pass fire burn scar in Fremont County was hit with flooding last night. County road 40 was closed because of mud and water across the road. Locals can get in and out, but thats about it.
