The Delhi government said in a status report that 47 relief camps were set up in the wake of the Yamuna floods and ‘proper food and other amenities were provided to flood-affected victims’.

Delhi Floods: The Hindon River, which is a tributary of the Yamuna River, witnessed a rise in the water level on Saturday. Several houses located in low-lying areas were submerged in the water.
The PIL, filed through advocate K R Shiyas, states that the “lackadaisical response from authorities cost the livelihood of hundreds of poor and destroyed their sole shelter which contained household items and important documents which proves (their) existence.”
