Reporter the wind had picked up dramatically in the passed three or four minutes. You can see behind me there is some fire activity on this ridgeline. Were just outside of the town of brightwood. They have been doing an excellent job of keeping the fire in check. It is trying to keep down the ridge line. On the other side of this valley our homes up in the hillside. This is the front line of the town of brightwood. This is one of the most concerning parts of the fire. Right now, there is a town so close to the flames. But Mother Nature is helping with this firefight. The winds are sustained it this point. And they are blowing in the right direction, away from the town of brightwood.
