And we came here used to seeing long lines like we have been seeing during the bitter contract negotiations but the negotiations are at an impasse and it looks like a ghosttown around here and a longer lockout or strike could be days away. I dont know. Once we wake up out of this nightmare, i dont know where we are going to be. The nightmare has dragged on for six months for miguel and he told us 25 Truck Drivers were told to stay home, because he wasnt sure the port would be open. No loading or unloading happened this weekend because labor talks remain at an an impasse. Although our efforts to Contact People at pride by phone through email and in person proved fruitless, pride leaders have been quoted as saying part of the reason behind the military ban was the u. Authorities say no one has been injured and no homes are threatened and were also told it may have started from a car fire near by. Kpix 5 lynn is close by. Reporter this fire has not affected any of those operations. The park continues to operate with families and little kids there. Its going to be a little bit smoky. You can see the fire continues to put out a lot of smoke. The white smoke that you see on the picture indicates that firefighters are starting to get a lot of water on the fire. As you mentioned, it has been burning for about one hour. So firefighters are well in place here. This became a three alarm fire, and theres about 60 firefighters on the ground here. It looks like its burned only a couple acres. No homes have been threatened. Firefighters continue to battle this fire.
