Police arrested 37-year-old Seth Graves March 13 walking on U.S. Highway 85 south of Nunn, after they linked him to trailer stolen from Northern Colorado Cowboy Church early that morning, according to an affidavit for his arrest. Police say he was carrying a rifle, a handgun and 38.61 grams of meth when they contacted him.
Jeremy Velazco, 35, pulled a knife on an asset protection employee before threatening to kill him while trying to leave the store with just over $30 of stolen items last month, according to an affidavit for his arrest. A 20-year-old pleaded guilty to charges of felony eluding, careless driving and reckless endangerment stemming from the Feb. 16 incident at a pre-trial conference earlier this week, according to an affidavit for his arrest. If he meets the conditions of his deferred sentence, he will avoid jail time and the charges will be dismissed.
