There are reports of extension damage at jfk high high, that explosion happened about 8 00 oclock this evening, take a look behind me this is jfk high school in the bronx. We are told this is one of two entrances to the school. The explosion happened on the sixth floor, about eight pm. Some of the custodian workers believe that it was a gas explosion. What we understand to be the case is about apm contractors to be the case is about apm contractors were working at a sixth floor construction using a blowtorch, apparently apparently they hit a gas line thats when custodians who smelled an overwhelming smell of gas, 15 people were in the building at the time. Police tell us three were injured with nonlifethreatening injuries hospital. Emergency responders search the entire building and there still an emergency alarm going off at the school. You
