Off of work. I think its kind of weird and scary. But this is the world were living in now. The bomb squad and police gave the all clear around 2 30 this afternoon and determined there was no threat. An officer did tell me they did find some suspicious objects within that car but he wouldnt tell me what those objects were ment again, the all clear given around 2 30 much the highways reopened again. But pretty much the damage was done when you think of the afternoon commute hour. All of those back ups from 101 as well as westbound 80 are now on the highway. I dont know if you can tell but you can see the back up eastbound 80 as those cars head towards the bay bridge. But the good thing is that all streets are open and the police did not find any bombs. This leaving San Francisco getting over two oakland. This crash happened just at about 3 30 a. M. You will see the traffic is going to be slow. Its not affecting the upper bay bridge and there seem to be making progress with listening to reports on Police Radios but again if youre leaving San Francisco you will have unexpected backup. Usually this hour of the morning theres no traffic there and right now there is. Not affecting westbound commute. If you want to take the same san mateo bridge thats a good commute right now. You can drive down to 92 and take the san mateo bridge. Its doing very well. Southbay a nice start this morning on 281 southbound traffic looks good or all all the freeways in the san jose area right now. Yesterday limited fog that held on keeping the city and parts of the coast of the cool design. Not santa cruz. No fog yesterday and they warmed up. Monterey peninsula is nice this city struggle to get above 64 and 65. Note chain no change today. It does look a littl
Higher humidity the farther south you go through the region and thats probably going to be the case today. Those dewpoints in the 70s still oppressively humid air. Thats the indicator there. As we go through the days, looks like heat wave day six but just barely. 88 degrees by noon. Your high today 91. Remember you need 90 or better to keep that heat wave going. And it looks like well just barely get that. Again more sun to the north, clouds to the south an spotty shower or thunderstorm down south in particular through the afternoon.
