The Helias Cruasders have a list of goals to achieve each season. With last week’s 24-6 win against Jefferson City to claim its fourth consecutive city championship, Helias can mark off the first one. But there’s still more on that list.
It’s a big game in deciding the Central Missouri Activities Conference champion. It definitely is for the city championship and the trophy that comes along with that. And it’s Jefferson City. “All focus and all eyes are on the biggest game of the year,” Helias coach Chris Hentges said as the Crusaders prepare to take on the Jefferson City Jays in a CMAC contest tonight at Ray Hentges Stadium.

You couldn’t blame the Helias Crusaders if they were looking backward. Last Friday night, the Crusaders came within a play of rallying for a win against Class 5 No. 1 Cardinal Ritter in St. Louis. But it was full-focus forward. It’s Rock Bridge week.
