I also support removal of any language requiring maxization of Police Presence in our community. I just wanted to say that im also extremely disturbed by the idea that sfpd management would come up with a proposal ive been calling into the Police Commission meeting for the last couple of weeks and im disgusted and ashamed of the amount of political posturing with no accountability or responsibility. Sharing im the policing unfairly targets marginalized communities, injects massive amounts of people into the prison system. We heard about reform from chief scott today, but all those measures ignore the fact that reform is not effective. We need to defund and sfpd and invest in our communities immediately.
