because this is now almost a daily occurrence, right. and it feels like we used to talk about how people would evade the laws, you know, how they would sort of slipped through the cracks to get guns. and now, we re just talking about, you know, this is what the laws allow, that you can do these private sales. that in texas, permit-less carry is allowed. there are just so many easy ways to get guns now. i feel like we have the conversation less of sort of wide the safety nets not catch people, and it s just they re not there. or was it a straw buyer, or some illegal weapon that was obtained. not that these are weapons being legally purchased. sometimes in the days before the attack, you know, like we saw in uvalde, we saw in louisville, these are people who are reacting very quickly, certain feeling they have, they go and purchase these weapons legally. they walk in, or through a private seller, as we see here in this latest shooting. and surely, what you said, sarah, about how he
instance, a straw buyer that got the gun to the shooter. is that person might be looking at some criminal liability as well. they re going to want to understand how that gun was fired. we ve heard that video numerous times now. you can hear the shots were going quickly. it s likely, it s probably just a semi-automatic rifle, meaning one bullet per trigger pull. but it s possible it may have been modified to make it illegal as a fully automatic rifle. that could lead to additional charges. so that gun is an important source of information as well. all right. andy, you heard the reporting on these videos, these music videos. some of them which have violent imagery, stick figures that are either about to be shooting or on the ground with blood. what do investigators do with that? and also, andy, the fact that they re calling this person a person of interest and a suspect. they seem awfully certain they
