I spoke to the Santa Clara County sheriffs office, they said they got the call around 7 30 this morning that someone had cut the fence to get on to the property. Now, pg e says that this property has 24hour security. They have security cameras. As you said, this is the site of that highprofile sniper attack in april of 2013. Nearly 100yearold building has put the tower in dirk of collapse. Half an hour ago engineers went inside the tower. We saw them from our chopper 5. They are trying to figure out the best way to tear part of the tower down. The pastor told us taking out the tower piece by piece is the only way to insure the safety of this area. Parishioner actually noticed the problem earlier today. They said bricks were crumbling at the top. There were cracks. Overall, the bell tower itself was unstable. It is actually separating from one wall from tore. So it could come down. Thats what we want to get taken care of before they open sonoma boulevard.
