Killed last week when a man drove a truck into crowds of people in nice. Friends and family have been searching for him for days and putting up these fliers. For the students there was hope and now thats gone. Reporter thats right. People were trying to remain hopeful and now the Campus Community is shocked and saddened that one of their own was killed in such a horrific attack. Nicholas leslie was part of uc berkeleys Study Abroad Program in nice and was killed in the bastille day attack and the news spread quickly on campus. I heard it through another friend caught in the attack. Reporter he says when his friend was safe she sent out a post saying that people were trying to find the 20yearold and the worst is confirmed. The home, they discovered the womans son, 29yearold blake howard, dead. Miss ortega planned the murder of her son blake howard, and again shot him multiple times while he was in the shower. Reporter officers are still trying to determine a motive but call this a Domestic Violence case. For neighbors its disturbing. And he said it was very hard living with his mother because she was a hoarder and spend money and hoard. And he said he was trying to help her change.
