Were now looking at eight Marion County sheriffs deputies in the last two months that have been indicted on charges or they have resigned because of at them. This is a picture from march 2014. Deputy eduardo boozete monte was awarded. Nearly two years later, bus temante is under investigation accused of abusing his power. He rezipped on friday after resigned on friday. The States Office is also looking into allegations. Investigators looked at Police Reports and videos like this one of the deputy responding to a call. And in many cases they say the two didnt match up. The report says we identified two cases her there was both an allegation of exisive Excessive Force and supporting evidence. It says he illegally searched peoples cars and wrote fault statements in Police Reports. And someone was arrested on misdemeanor marijuana charges. Because of this, the sheriffs deputies actions. Were going to continue to increase our checks and balances in our audit system. Were going to begin pulling videotapes from officers randomly throughout the month. To make sure that our videos matching up with our statements. And were being proactive. And that violated his right to remain silent. Is this technicality obviously, its substantially enough that theyre substantial enough that theyre going to give him another trial. But this doesnt really it shouldnt change the outcome of the case. The rocket has been revised and is more powerful and will propel the satellite into a geo stationary orbit, 22 miles above the surface of the earth.
