Over 350 students from R.J. Grey Junior High School signed a letter written by two fellow students to show both support for School Committee members targeted in virtual racist attacks and to also take a firm stand against racism within the Acton-Boxborough community.
Eighth-graders Sara Karp and Sneha Iyer, both of Acton, wrote the letter to show their support and gratitude to School Committee members Kyra Wilson Cook and Evelyn Abayaah-Issah, who were the targets of racist remarks during two virtual School Committee meetings on Dec. 17 and on Jan. 7.
The two friends felt the second incident did not garner as much attention as the first and they didn t want people to forget about what happened.

Mumbai: The International Society for Krishna Consciousness also known as ISKCON won a major relief when the Bombay High Court restrained New Delhi-based Vishna Foods Pvt Ltd from using the trademark ISKCON in any manner until further orders.
